In the hospital I go to, it's like a resort, except for the medication, ECT, and group sessions and you're not allowed out for the first couple of weeks and no mobile phones or computers. (I've never had ECT). But you do get your own room with an air conditioner and bathroom but the windows are bolted and riveted shut on account of the fact that too many people have thrown themselves out.

@ASS-P
Well, you are still getting through, at least.
Sorry you're in hospital.

It's like a cocoon - cotton wool wrapping around you away from society.

The floor is ultimately where things like uncaught crumbs, bits of litter, little scraps of paper etc. end up. It's almost unavoidable. That's what vacuum cleaners are for... once a month... or two. 8O

When cutting/shaving something with a knife, not only is it important to concentrate on what you're cutting but probably MORE IMPORTANT to envisage what you WILL CUT if you slip!

Tonight's going to be an all nighter for me. I'm going to be cramming to get my craft projects done. If I cram to get them done on Friday or Saturday nights through the month of July, everything will be all done and ready to go.

One of the things I love about living alone is I can do whatever I want, however I want, whenever I want.

And the bliss of peaceful, quiet solitude.

Lists/checklists are VERY IMPORTANT things.

I only make a list if I am forced to.

As I get older, I'm forced to make lists more often.

I make a list and then forget where I put it, or leave without it.

I need to do an "Out The Door Leaving List" for this place.
Basically it's a 'Have you got everything? Have you turned everything off?' list.

Wednesday, I cooked crumpets under the griller before going to work and left the griller on ALL DAY. From 6 am to 5 pm with Boo on the house.

I NEED lists.
