What did you achieve today?

I wrote down some more notes for my story.

Managed to sit through a Wimbledon tennis match for the first time in about 20 years. After the first few games I almost gave up because of the players' endless shrieking and whooping, but then succeeded in tuning this out. Was disappointed with Jelena Ostapenko - a rising star as strong, quick and technically gifted as her should have been able to see off a veteran like Venus Williams, but she blew too many good opportunities with loose shots. Venus did look in amazing shape for a 37-year-old though.

I went out and about.

Today at Retro Gaming Wednesday at work I got nearly double the next highest score on the game of the month (which is Tapper). They said my score was "quite impressive".

I played with my kitty, and got some more words down.

I got even closer to my friends and caught up on my sleep and managed to stay awake enough to drink some coffee and now be really awake, go me...

I managed to push myself to work on my side project. I also found the perfect Quake sourceport to run on my Thinkpad netbook.

I talked to all you fun people. And managed to stay up today.

I got the daily bonus on two survey sites.

I'm sort of catching up to the recommended 'words a day' number.

Made a tiny to-do list, at least THOUGHT about my way-longer to-do list I have on my flash drive around my neck and another one in my bag and another copy on my computer and another flash drive in a coffee can in my apartment.

I got to 8,000 words. 2,000 more to catch up.

I wrote a good amount in my journal.
