dreamt i was in an empty classroom at my old junior high school from the early 1970s, when i heard a tapping noise coming from a pipe coming down from the roof, so i started tapping back in response, "tap-tap-taptap-tap-- tap-tap" [ala "shave and a haircut-10 cents"] and the tapping i got back duplicated that, so i went next door and notified a teacher of the person on the roof and he went and got the principal and together they went and climbed the roof and found a middle-eastern girl hiding on the roof and the cops came and took her away, another teacher told me, "go home, nothing to see here." in the back seat of the patrol car i could see a woman with head garment and a bunch of kids all talking at once in some middle eastern tongue, then i awoke.

Yesterday or so, I saw on CNN a Middle Eastern woman with head garment talking (naturally very upset) out the car window with children inside the car. There was bombing all around them. Do you incorporate the news sometimes into your dreams?

surely I do, but I don't get cable tv. however, your description of the upset woman with head garment and children inside car is eerie, I wonder how that image got into my dream when I never saw it, due to lack of cable tv? collective unconscious? strange....

That scenario probably played out with many people. Maybe, there was a fleeting image on local news or network news. Symbolically, it is like the Middle East is subconsciously tapping on your shoulder regarding their distress.

I dreamed that I had cancer and I only had 5 days to live.

I think that is the most bizarre dream I have ever had.

It's been plaguing my mind all week.

and the fact that it was in junior high school would indicate that humankind is primitive, juvenile with much to learn.

Cancer
To dream that you have cancer denotes hopelessness, grief, self-pity, and unforgiveness. You feel you are wasting your life away. This dream also represents areas in your life which are bothering you, disturbing you, and hurting you in some emotional way. An emotional issue is eating away at you. To dream that you are being treated for cancer signifies a positive change in your life. To dream that someone has cancer indicates that you need to change your negative way of thinking before it eats away at you. The dream is pointing you in the direction of seeking out more positivity in your life.

Yes! And the school principal and teacher take a look but take the problem out of sight. They tell you "nothing to see here".

There could be something in that. I have been having a bit of a difficult time lately and then yesterday things took a turn for the better.

Behead
To dream that you or someone else is being beheaded signifies poor judgment or a bad decision that one has made and regretted. One may not be thinking clearly and you might be refusing to see the truth. You need to confront the situation or the person despite the pain and discomfort you might feel in doing so. The dream also suggests that one might have the tendency to act before thinking.
Onions
To see or eat onions in your dream represent the multitude of layers that you need to get through in order to unveil what is really underneath. You need to dig a little deeper into a situation or problem. The dream may be a metaphor for some revelation.
Paste
To see paste in your dream indicates a fear of being trapped in some situation and not being able to get out of it. You have a fear of partnership or commitment and a general distrust of people around you. On the flip side, you may be too clingy. Alternatively, you are holding on to some false hope. To dream that you are pasting something together suggests that you are piecing together aspects of yourself and acknowledging those previously rejected parts. Alternatively, the dream may be a metaphor for a sticky situation.

Makes perfect sense.I did make a terrible mistake that I feel awful about. When my Ig died I stayed up all night doing research on what went wrong.I came to the conclusion that I did not factor in the hardness of the well water, they drilled thru limestone. You are suppose to supplement with calcium in their diets, but too much can be toxic to the kidneys. The combo of vitamins and the calcium in the water is what I believe killed her.I have been heartsick over it.
I also dreamed about one of those big arched bridges and having to cross one,I don't like it at all.I have those dreams quite a bit.

Bridge
To dream that you are crossing a bridge signifies an important decision or a critical junction in your life. This decision will prove to be a positive change filled with prosperity and wealth in the horizon. Bridges represent a transitional period in your life where you will be moving on to a new stage. If the bridge is over water, then it suggests that your transition will be an emotional one. If you fall off the bridge and into the water, then the dream indicates that you are letting your emotions hold you back and prevent you from moving forward. Alternatively, the bridge may indicate that you are trying to "bridge" or connect two things together. To dream of a run-down bridge indicates that you should not contemplate any major changes in your life at this time.

Water
To see water in your dream symbolizes your subconscious and your emotional state of mind. It is also symbolic of spirituality, knowledge, healing and refreshment. To see calm, clear water in your dream denotes serenity, peace of mind, and rejuvenation. To see muddy or dirty water in your dream indicates that you are wallowing in your negative emotions. You may need to take some time to cleanse your mind and find internal peace. Alternatively, the dream suggests that your thinking/judgment is unclear and clouded. To dream that you are walking over water suggests that you need to "stay on top" of your emotions and not let them explode out of hand. To dream of never being able to cross a bridge could mean you are failing at some task in waking life, some existential goal is eluding your grasp.

Sounds reasonable,I just have no idea of the task.If it's fitting into society I'll never get across that bridge. :D Not sure I want to.
