My previous post was correct. My doctor is certain I don't have a brain tumor. Instead, apparently all my recent symptoms are attributable to orthostatic hypotension (my blood pressure plummeting when I stand up). It might be due to an electrolyte imbalance, they took some blood to check that. For now I've been told just to drink Gatorade and eat salty snacks. So it looks like yet another "We might tinker with your meds some more, but really, you'll just have to put up with it until it resolves itself - oh, and by the way, even if this completely clears up, it won't help your memory issues even one little bit, have fun continuing to watch your brain decline."

Should I say "I'm sorry you don't have a tumour", or "Congrats!"

Either way I'm sorry you're so frustrated, and not feeling better.

As isabellalinton said, happy to hear there is no Brian to blame!

I posted about this earlier but the salty thing does help. I overloaded on olives and felt 100 times better...

My mom had said the exact same thing to me re: blood pressure. Salted water and iodine help me

Pickles are really good too for that and it actually helps with anxiety

Maybe meds mess up or fix memory... Mine was awful most of my life until i took welbutrin in my 20s.

Good luck

I just discovered that I failed the practices from this term. There's no feedback whatsoever.
I passed the first two practices individually and the third practice became a confusing online class due to the situation.

It's an unfortunate situation but it sucks, I'm slowly losing my motivation to study in general, I already wanted to switch majors and almost had an appointment with the teacher from Fine Art, but because things are currently chaotic in the offices of college there's no way I can still transfer this year, which means I'm stuck to being an AV student for an extra while.

My coach also tries to convince me to stay at AV because it has a lot to offer but keeps sending me films to check out not realising that I'm NOT interested in becoming a filmmaker. I originally applied for AV because I wanted to become a visual artist and the Adobe programs were my tools of the trade, but I have so much more to offer artistically and video is just an extra tool which you could also do in Fine Art.
Tomorrow the theory classes start again and even though the class has a great teacher, I really can't be arsed about the history of cinema and film. I know she also teaches other theory classes and I'd rather learn about some different art history.

I don't want to learn about filmmaking and a majority of my teachers are documentary directors.

I actually have to work on a presentation for my elective that I have to present on Skype later but I don't have the motivation even though it's a fun elective.
Thing is, I could basically fail the elective and the rest of my classes as the college institution suspended the credit threshold for this academic year, but I would have to catch up on the missing credits at a later stage.

What does give me some form of enjoyment is that I have a lot of time

Just tired of this situation. Art school or not, this is not what I signed up for.
Regardless of the situation that's beyond our control right now.

??? who's who;
In 1888 while working as Secretary for the American Baptist Education Society, Gates came to the attention of John D. Rockefeller (JDR). JDR was approached by Gates as part of a campaign to create a major Baptist university in the Midwest. Convinced by Gates’ arguments for such an institution, JDR became the principal benefactor of what became the University of Chicago in 1892.

His most notable contribution to early philanthropy, however, was his role in the establishment of the Rockefeller Foundation (RF). It was Gates’ vision of a large, professionally staffed foundation that could work for the general purpose of “the welfare of mankind” that convinced JDR to provide the resources for the new foundation. During his time on the RF Board of Trustees, Gates encouraged a focus on health initiatives (setting an agenda that prevailed for decades) and oversaw early activities of the Foundation, including the development of the International Health Division (IHD) and the China Medical Board (CMB). He served a ten-year term on the RF Board of Trustees before retiring in 1923.

My husband, who is a volunteer firefighter, is right now out at a major blaze. Not a blaze on the level of the Australian fires or anything like that. But major for our rural area with other counties "standing up" meaning ready to go if needed.

It is a brush fire with structures vulnerable and also a forest nearby.

I am terribly proud of him for his efforts in protecting our neighbors.

Got the results from my blood test, and apparently my iron levels are even lower than they were before I started taking an iron supplement (it was eight point something, before it was 14, the lowest point of the "low" range is 22, 7 or below and they give you a blood transfusion). It seems that something is going on so my body isn't absorbing iron properly. We're going to get a call from a medical center today or Monday to schedule two iron infusions and then wait two weeks and see where my levels are.

Is your haemoglobin in normal range?

Also did they test your iron or your ferritin?

My mom answered the phone, she just told me what they said my iron level was. I don't know about the other two.

I love praying. . what I don't love is 1. People in general ..and all the baggage they push onto u and all that. 2. Transitioning out of it back to regular life. 3. Transitions between ablution to mat to normal life. 4. Lack of consistency because of aversion to transitions

But I just took it up again just now. Im not going to let anyone know because then they'll assume I want to be part of their version of life which is stupid and wrong, and I don't.
