I feel very peaceful and grateful. XH has agreed to take kids for tomorrow until 5.30 pm... He doesnt normally split weekends (even though he is supposed to from what we signed)...

But I CC'd outsiders whose opinions he cares about (care coordinators and nursing coordinators). I attached the Separation agreement and explained why I thought he should take them for part of the long weekend.

Im happy tomorrow much of the day will be without kids for the first time in months.... maybe years..
Like a little holiday.

I need to buy a screen protector for my iPad, I keep getting smudges & other stuff on it. I need to get rid of my Oreos cookies.

Nonstandard logic, that may or may not even looked like logic.
Obviously manifested as nonsensical in the lens of formal forms of logic.

If quarantine continues, my dog will look like a full-on Sasquatch.

He's four weeks overdue on grooming and in dire need of a haircut.

Maybe if I quit being such a self-absorbed cynical bastard people will like me more?

I was lucky, my dog got groomed just before all the quarantine stuff started. He's a standard poodle, he'd look like a big fluffball if he didn't get haircuts.

Assuming all the quarantine stuff is over by then, Tool, my very favorite band, is going to be in Wichita on June 16 (I think). I'm in the Kansas City area, my mom said it would be a long enough drive that it would probably involve a hotel stay. Also, last May I went to a concert of theirs in Kansas City, and I had to leave partway through because of sensory overload (despite using both earplugs and noise-canceling headphones over that). So on the one hand, I really want to try again, but on the other, I don't want us to spend the money for a hotel room and tickets to the concert only to have to leave early again. Decisions, decisions. And the longer I wait, the less likely it will be that we'll get decent (or even any) tickets if I decide I want to go badly enough.

If there is such thing as nonstandard logic, then it is also possible there is also a form of gestalt does one assume and presume? One that tried to please or dismantle? The inherent 'instructions' of decoding the lens of one's perception of realities?

And the infinite known knowns, unknown knowns, known unknowns and unknown unknowns.

My understanding of logic, such as it is: Logic is a method by which one uses past events to analyze current events and/or predict the future. My opinion: that doesn't leave room for the unexplored.

Yes.

It's because I'm looking for something incomprehensible.

Happy Easter everyone.

I'm thinking about how lonely my mother must be. She's living alone and widowed in her 80s, and she's unable to use her arms because she needs shoulder replacements. She can barely even dress herself or comb her hair. She doesn't have any technology or a computer and can't do a "video chat" or anything for Easter. She's just sitting there alone self-isolating only ten minutes from me, but I'm on quarantine so I can't see her or share a meal.

It makes me sad that other people will break quarantine to visit loved ones today, when we've been told to stay home.

It makes me sad that other people think a video Easter is sad -- but my family can't even have that.

We have no Easter at all.

I miss my dad and all the traditions associated with Easter in my childhood.

I miss that everything is different, but most of all I feel badly for my mother all alone and physically disabled.
