I actually tried Portal. Unfortunately, I left it ajar and Scruffy the local eldritch abomination came in and knocked the trash can and scattered its contents and and and and and

That Kevin is SUCH a liar! Scruffy is Jewish, a young local rabbi, actually, and he was going through the trash looking for appropriate materials to make a Golem out of. THAT is the Eldritch abomination that lumbered around, stumbling through the trash already spread about. My understanding of the ensuing 'situation' is that the rabbi tried to get the Golem to clean up the mess, and handed it a broom, but Golems are pre-programmed as warriors, so it assumed that it had been given a weapon to use, and that's when the real trouble began.
