Yeah, they added a Quick Response box and made those pages shorter so you don't need to scroll.

Either summer heat is extended or stormy season's late.

Which is preferable? I don't like when it's too hot, I overheat so easily it's disgusting.

Neither. :skull:

Former means higher electricity and water bills, compromising on gadget's temp and levels of tactile irritation.

Latter means clogged drain system, weekly living room floods, panic buying waves, and possible brownouts.

All the same both will mean people will fuss over those who would rather be outside.

Now I know why I have a lot of Filipino coworkers. :P

(I worked in Zone 6/8, and Dean kinda teased that I shouldn't complain because there's someone doing the same thing in else where with basically that in the background. He's right, but southern Ontario is still too warm for me.)

Based from what I've searched...

You called that warm?! I'd more likely freeze to death instead.
Though it won't be much of a verdict until I've truly experienced the season's change of lifestyle myself.

Definitely, and it might not take that long. I know when I worked in the other factory it often would be 50-54°C in the area I worked in and I'd get used to it (sorta), if it got to 55°C they'd stop running the weld line to avoid having to take extra breaks and let things cool down.

Also, it's a cold night. Later this week it will get up to 30°C, which is typical for this time of year.

Hi everyone! Anyone seen any funny roadsigns lately? Anyone into astronomy? What do you like to do to not be bored or what hobbies do you have?

Trans men get hassled on five grounds:
1 transphobes who don't see trans men as men and who are sexist and hassle women
2 't...... chasers'
3 gay guys who want to hassle young/feminine looking women
4 gay guys who want to hassle any man cos they're desparate
5 guys who want to claim they're 'just being friends' but stalk too much

Might be in the path of a tornado. No word if one is actually on the ground yet.

Looks like the worst is past and was a bit west, but more tornado warnings south.

Glad you made it through. We get tornado warnings usually about twice a year here (but then again, I am in Kansas  ). Nothing’s ever happened to us, fortunately, though we do take the pets and a weather radio and head to the basement when we hear the sirens. Once I saw a wall cloud forming out the window of the car (confirmed to be such by weather reports, don’t remember if anything more came from that or not), but we were on the way back from somewhere a good while away (don’t remember exactly how far), and neither us nor our house were in direct danger from it.

Thanks, but there is another confirmed tornado south west moving close to same track heading north east towards my area. Unfortunately, we don't have basements here to take cover in. May end up east of my location if it stays on the ground that long and doesn't change direction.

Edit: Sounds like the worst of it is over for my area.

Actually, once I think about it, I probably don’t have celiac disease because that would mean the iron absorption issue was in the digestive system, which means that since the iron infusions go directly into my bloodstream, completely bypassing the digestive system, would have helped if that was my problem. On the one hand, yay, no strict gluten-free diet, but on the other, well, then... what the heck is wrong with me? Clearly something is, because I’m experiencing significant anemia symptoms and my iron level tested as far below normal. But I think it’s safe to say now that it isn’t anything involving bleeding (either internal, since I have exactly zero signs of it, or from heavy periods, because mine actually tend to be a bit light) or the absorption/handling of iron in the digestive system (since the infusions aren’t helping). Unfortunately, I have to wait until June 16 at least (probably later, so there’s time to test my blood, and I may very well end up being sent to a hematologist, and then would have to wait until whenever we manage to get an appointment scheduled) to get anything more in the way of answers.
