My electric bill was really low. I can't think what I've done differently but it was £15 cheaper than its been for the last few months.

got my p17 in the mail and it works as advertised. also got a rare tape reel of stereo music from 1962, "a choral spectacular." unfortunately my open reel deck is kaput and i have to be able to either repair it [expensive] or acquire another [much more expensive yet].

I dug up a couple of my potato plants and got at least 20 potatoes out of them. A couple are the size of grapefruit!

Do you mean my potatoes? Yes, it's not bad is it. And I have about 7 more plants that I'm leaving to grow longer.

There were dozens of tiny potatoes though and a lot which had grown above ground and gone green, so there was a lot of wastage, but still!

Great isn't it! I don't need to buy potatoes from the shop this week!

My husband took the old, broken cooker hood off today. We thought it would take ages and be really difficult and leave a mess, but it took about 10 minutes and the cabinet looks fine underneath, just a bit dusty!

They're actually my daughter's. She collects jellycat things.

They are very cute.
