The lionesses won 2-1 against Germany in the final. Well done ladies.

That England's first major football trophy since the world Cup final in 1966 and the ladies are bringing it home.

That was brilliant wasn't it. And I didn't hear of any racism, violence or any other nastiness among the fans. All the fans seemed to be peaceful and happy. That makes such a nice change from the men's Euro Cup last year.

This win will inspired thousands of little girls who like to play football and can follow their role models.

Did you hear Alex Scott saying that a few years ago they had to beg stadium managers to host the women's matches this tournament? Many refused! I bet they are feeling silly now.

Today me, my husband, our daughter and her best friend went to the shopping centre and had lunch. It was such a lovely day. The centre wasn't crowded, it was just nicely full, and we strolled around while the girls went and bought clothes for college next month! Such a lovely day.

I'm glad you had a lovely day KitLily

I've been sorting out my holiday stuff. Going away in a few days. I'm so excited.

Thanks!

How exciting for you! We've had our holidays this year already :( One night in Dorset. And two nights in the New Forest.

The Waltons, one of my favourite TV shows has gone back full circle to the earlier episodes on MeTV. I like the first seasons of that show the best. The child characters in the show are younger and they seem more innocent and fresh out of the pod.

My work colleague which seemed to dislike me is warming up to me it seems.

I have tomorrow off since i have to attend a wedding, she Said "have fun" while smiling. She is a serious person normally but she is also polite and considerate. I like her.

Using string lights and not having to deal with harsh lighting while I'm trying to relax.
