Today, after school, I walked to my house and I crashed against a truck mirror

Thanks, RedMage! I have to rework it and fix it before I send it out for publication.

Going out to the pub soon in preparation for my pub trip to Skipton tomorrow afternoon. Looking forward to it too, I must say. Sampling many ales and having something nice to eat sounds OK by me. :)

i think i'm doing too much research on my group project...funny thing is is that i'm one of the people who have to do the least amount of research. my job is art so i'm doing a poster board and writing a paper on what my art means. the presenters are the people who have to do all of the research and write a paper and the people with those jobs probably won't do a good job(trust me, i know these people). oh, yeah this is for history and we're entering into the civil war right now. the war we choose, more like i chose since the other people in my group were just sitting around not caring, is the first battle of bull run. all i have to do is paste some pictures of the battle and the generals but i keep digging deeper and deeper into this war. this makes me have to do more work on the board...grrr...

Trying to convince myself to leave the computer and the house. Either to go out, or to get some work done. I'm a lazy bum.

Had a rare old time in Skipton. About 30 of us from the pub went about 2pm. I went with my aunt and uncle and one of the people we know in the pub. I got there about 3:10pm and left about 9:10pm or so.

Skipton's actually a really nice town with quite a few pubs to drink in. At first we went for a quick walk around the town centre while we left some of the others in the first pub we came to. A mate of mine from the pub bought some pies (a bloody huge bag full!) and my aunt bought some cheese from another cheese stall for another chap in our local. The first pub we went to was noisy and served dodgy ale but soon we were on our way after the food had been put back on the coach. We were on tour.

We drank in about six of them, walking from pub to pub around the town centre and having a whale of a time. None of the beer was cheap. Prices varied from £2.00 to about £2.60 a pint. One place charged me £1.40 for an half of cider. Now, Skipton is Tetley's country so a lot of these pubs had Tetley's and nothing else on cask so some of these places were a bit dull. Quite a few places were busy and very noisy - not necessarily a very nice place to be for someone with Asperger's but I handled it very well. We had about six pints or so and then we went and had something eat at a pub we'd visited earlier in the day about 6:30pm.

I had a huge leg of lamb and ate the lot and with chips too. There was one lady in our particular group who couldn't manage to eat it all. Tried some ales I've never had before. We had the meal in a Timothy Taylor pub where they had all the main TT beers on so of those I had Landlord (very nice!), Golden Best (this is a light mild and not to my taste) and Dark Mild (which was much nicer).

Visited about three more pubs, having one or two pints in each but soon we realised it was nearing 9pm and time to head back to the coach. We stopped off at one more pub near the car park and had a pint in there. Afterwards, thirty bladdered people got on the coach and we all went back to our local. From there I had one last pint and then walked home.
