That's a funny dream. Sound's like a science fiction book. A book I liked a lot (Perdido Street Station) had people with bug heads. The main character was in love with one. Interesting dynamics there!

I dunno  bughead would have to be AWFULLY NICE to me before I'd fall in love with him/her.

Last night I had a nightmare that I was in a slasher film in which the psychopath then stapled his victims corpses to walls in a small town with metal rods and big knives. I could "feel" in a couple parts of it. In the early part I am getting my picture taken by someone when something drips on me and the person taking my picture screams and I look up and there is a corpse on the wall. Near the end I could feel my self running through a building hall with bodies lining the walls then at a dead end breaking a window with a metal rod that I decided to grab from one of the corpses. The last thing I saw before waking up was the sun rising. :shaking:

I dreamt I was back in the military but in a totally different barracks, populated with some people who are minor TV stars. jane lynch ["Hollywood game night"] was my barracks sergeant but she was totally cool with me. we were due for a "white glove" barracks inspection soon so she assigned me to clean the lavatories, and I went into one and noticed that somebody tried to flush a bunch of bananas down the toilet, and of course they did not flush, so I plucked them out of the bowl and set them aside to wash later, when I noticed there was porn in this bathroom as well as sex toys , so I gathered them all up and was carting them out to my car to hide them there until after the inspection. as I walked down the hall my legs got very tired and weak and leaden, and it took every bit of my energy to reach the lobby door, then when I opened it and stepped outside, I awoke.

had me the strangest dream, I dreamt I got a letter from my medical insurance company telling my back surgery had been scheduled, that I was to report to the local "mr. muffler" muffler repair shop for the surgery [!]. so despite my misgivings I obediently reported to the local muffler repair shop and talked with the mechanic on duty there who was convinced that all my aching back needed was a new muffler installed in it, and as he explained himself to me, I had my misgivings, and I told him, "now, I have nothing against muffler repairmen, but...." then one of the other people in the waiting room waiting for his muffler to be done piped in, "y'all must be CRAZY! I wouldn't let a daggone muffler mechanic touch MY back with a 10 foot tailpipe!" then I awoke.

I had scope power, but couldn't use it to snipe. Just fly like in Dragon Ball. Anyway, I cringed and crunched my way through Commissioner Gordon's office to sail away for a time and space. Unlike Shantae, I don't dance through the danger. I just punch through the peril as if I'm Little Mac.

I had a SCARY one, in which I was with a group of people in L.A. (the dream got its inspiration from my watching that movie from 1997, "The Volcano", in which Tommy Lee Jones had no idea what was happening and was like:"the surface of the lake looks like it was burning, if it didn't sound that stupid, I would say it's a lava that is getting out" ). There was the same in my dream as in the movie - puddles of lava every now and then, streams of it flowing and I had to be very careful not to get hurt by those and the very worst part was that I lost my house - someone told me it was destroyed and it had lava in its basement. :x

I had violence in my dreams, thankfully that is all that I remember but I do remember seeing people get shot in the mouth with blood gushing all over the place.

I had a dream that was a little disturbing. I was in a hospital talking with people who were sick and dying. I couldn't remember who the dying people were, but I had a strong feeling that I knew them and cared about them. The first person I talked to resembled a childhood friend, who died when we were both little. We hugged each other, and I started talking to a man who resembled an Uncle who also died when I was little. We were having a warm conversation when I woke up for some reason.

When I woke up I decided to get some water from the kitchen. While I was walking I started feeling lightheaded, my vision got blurry, and my muscles felt very weak. Luckily, I was able to recover from that condition and I went back to bed.

I don't think I have orthostatic hypotension, I've never been diagnosed with it and I don't usually feel faint after getting up. I don't know why that happened.

I know I sometimes have great difficulty getting up in the middle of the night. the deeper the sleep I was roused from the more difficulty.

Sometimes I have a hard time getting up, too. It's harder for me to wake up from a deep sleep and I don't always notice external stimuli when I'm sleeping.

speaking of external stimuli, I slept through the 2001 april fool's day Nisqually earthquake! I dreamt that somebody was hearding cattle in front of the house when my dad banged on my door, told me to get my ass outta bed and get out, absent-mindedly put my bathrobe on upside-down and inside-out and ricocheted off the hallway walls towards the exit.

That's ok, I might do the same thing if I woke up so suddenly

I slept through a huge storm a few years ago. Everyone talked about how loud it was the next day, but I never heard it!
