I'm picturing them just deciding to shout over you (physically), oblivious to you being there.

Learning earlier today that my ex-girlfriend works at a popular grocery store near my house.

I do not want to talk to her ever again because she dumped me without explaining herself and I never got one from her. She was not the type who would cheat, so I don't know what went wrong between us. :x

One of my other coworkers moved the clothes that the lady next to me was preparing and messed up the pile, so that lady started yelling at her, and the other lady working at my other side started yelling at her and it all got progressively heated. They were legit yelling over me (I'm shorter than them lmao). :skull:

Hadn't done laundry since last week.

And it's raining.

Also more unfinished chores.

When you try to explain to someone that they are being irrational and their answer essentially amounts to they are a soothsayer and then their ire turns on you - wahay!

Not today, but yesterday.

I was auditing the service desk till. In the middle of counting, a customer comes up to me. "I don't understand how those points multipliers work."

She complained to me that her points multiplier didn't work at all. "Oh yes, that's a glitch in the system sometimes. I can give you the number to the rewards help desk and they can add the points to your account manually."
Customer: I've tried that before, is there any way you could fix it and we'll try again?
Me: I mean, I suppose I could refund your entire order and re-ring it up, but that would take a while considering you have a lot of items....
Customer: can we do that, please, since you aren't busy?

I'm literally standing at the service desk with a clipboard in hand and counting the drawer. I am NOT "aren't busy".

:?

But customer service being what it is, I start the process. Cursing inwardly the entire time, because this s**t bouta make me have to re-start the entire audit process. :x

While I'm doing it, she discovers that some items didn't ring up correctly. I want to scream. Now the records I've already written down will absolutely be thrown off.

Anyways, stuff happens. The process takes like half an hour, and once we're done she is still fussing over small details. I want to pull my hair out.

I don't know if this might work for you, but when I'm placed in ridiculous and uncomfortable situations I kinda just pan the camera back from me, look at the scene and start to laugh.
