They're really pretty kitties, I wish we had one. No room for a fifth cat.

Now you're making me want a fourth...

I don't have anything in particular to do today. I'm not sure what I'll end up doing. I like no plan days. They're like big ole blank pieces of paper and anything can go on them. Should I work on the yard, cook, clean, a little of all of the above or maybe none of the above. I could be lazy and sit around and enjoy all the nothingness. I could go for a walk and maybe run a bit. I've been slacking on the cardio lately and could stand to get back to it.

Random side note, YouTube just started playing Primus, My Name is Mud. My daughter just broke up with a guy who looks like Les Claypool looked in this video and every time I saw the guy this song would pop into my head. The resemblance is uncanny.

How I have to stop shopping online. Not because I can't afford to but because more and more people are either taking forever to deliver something, or they deliver it wrong, or they don't deliver it at all and cancel it. My nerves are bad because even when my e-mail says something I ordered has been shipped it still doesn't mean I will get it. This summer a parcel I ordered went to the wrong address and it was like having to pull teeth to tell Canada Post about it and have it delivered to me. Several of my parcels ended up being canceled on Amazon, and just this week a parcel that I assumed would arrive quickly and on time because it was from the same country I live in never arrived and I had to request a refund. Of course everything is being blamed on COVID 19 but you'd think they'd have things less screwed up after several months of this insanity.

If only the stores where I live didn't suck so hard and actually carried the things I want. Am I the only one who thinks it's GREAT when you go to a nearby store and actually GET the item you want IMMEDIATELY after you take it off the shelf and pay for it? And you actually get to see how it looks in REAL LIFE when you do? And you just bring right home and you can enjoy it as soon as you take it out of the package. AMAZING!! 8O

Screw the world, screw the human race, and screw my life. :x

:skull: Go ahead mom. Leave the monitor open. Leave the TV on. Leave the music blare all over. It's been like that now, for the past 4 days and nights.

I asked you twice if I should turn it off... And said no twice.

 Tis on you now.

The sadness that is respectability politics and how it applies to autistic people.

I'm probably guilty of it myself.

Contrapoints' 'Cringe' is an interesting take on respectability politics in general.

Not fair for the right to normalise bullying then act shocked when we laugh at Victorian children returning to boarding school in hopes to get away from their tyrannical father & at risk of catching the Spanish flu  That picture is also like a case of 'spot the dad'...

Slept in later than I prefer to because I couldn't fall asleep well last night and took a melatonin gummy way later than I should have - today has been sloowwwww although I've been making an effort to figure out what my budget will be on my soon-to-begin job salary and figuring out what I can afford in terms of living costs. Need to eat lunch but feel unmotivated to start putting it together. C'est la vie.

I'm done arguing politics with children in their teens and early 20s.

It's the exact same arguments over and over.

Gets boring.

And the joke is that they think it's all novel when it's not.

Some people are politically persuasive. People of all persuasions. I'm just not one of those people and my job's better done reinforcing and bolstering with facts & knowledge once someone already agrees.

I don't want to have this talk with the honey. I mean, I do. It's needed. I don't like talks like this one, that's all.
Rawr rawr yard yard rawr.
And exhale.
