Ugh, I thought the worst of the heat season was over, but just now we have announced...

HEAT ADVISORY FROM 10 AM TUESDAY TO 9 PM EDT WEDNESDAY... * HEAT INDEX VALUES...Up to 102 due to temperatures in the mid 90s, and dewpoints in the lower 70s. * LOCATION...Most of southern New England.

Still 80ºF at 2:30 am. That does not bode well for tomorrow, which is expected to go to 97ºF. 8O

Sunny and rather warm temperature. Of it self a comfortable day to end August with and begin the weekend, not to mention for doing the things outdoors that needs to be done.

South Central PA is currently under a flood warning, after almost 10 inches of rain fell across the area, according to NWS.

I can’t even remember how many flash flood warnings have gone up over the past three months. Yesterday’s storms broke the record of rainfall that dropped on the area at one time since hurricane Agnes. It was even worse than the Johnstown flood of 1977.
