Yeah I wasn't thinking it was. I was just concerned if you was being harassed.

If someone is harassing you, report them.

@Joe I agree - screenshot and report.

My house needs a good airing out because it's hot but also dusty from the forest fire smoke.

I can't open the windows so I've spent all day dusting and hoovering but that feels nasty with windows shut.

I have five air purifiers going and one got a puddle of water under it but it's not wet??

What does that mean, anyone?

My central humidifier is shut off btw. A/C is on, but it wasn't condensation.

No-one is harassing me as such. I just hate being told not to put something that other people put all the time.

Like one time at my old job, I just wrote on Facebook "had a bad day" or something like that, and the next day my supervisor came up to me and gave me a lecture about putting anything negative about work on Facebook. I protested that I didn't even mention work but she said that it's obvious that I was referring to work in my post because I had had a bad day at work, and she said that it's best not to put anything negative at all on Facebook that could be about work.
But then a few weeks later another worker there put something like "I need another job, feeling stressed here" on her Facebook feed and got told off about it by another member of staff, but the same supervisor who'd told me off about it was on her side and said that it's OK to put something like that on Facebook about work.
So I couldn't work that one out and got annoyed.

Oh you got reported for something. I got reported for derailing my own thread last week. Lol

I wouldn't worry about it.

Yeah that was weird.
I only report people if they really trigger me like an unprovoked personal attack. I haven't reported anyone for ages. I only do as a last resort.

They should change the name of the report button to the "not to be abused button".

It’s probably better to report someone than to complain about them publicly.

I agree but I swear people just use it because they don't like what someone has said or because they don't like the way the thread is going.

In the case of my thread last week I kind of got it. It wasnt explained to me why it had been reported but I just guessed it was because it was getting a bit x rated and maybe inappropriate but that's just the way it went but I get that it's not everyone's cup of tea so I just apologised, sucked it up and moved on. But then I don't think any posts were removed so I might be wrong.

But I still think that people do abuse the report button sometimes when what they should just do is just walk away.
