Make sure you keep "an eye" on him.

It was too busy at work and didn't have a chance to talk to this girl I have a crush on lol. Not sure if I even want to date her but would like her as a friend, she's very lively and fun to talk to.

Thank you Aurora and Martian Princess. We buried him with his favorite toy, a worn out jolly ball that he liked better after my husband ran over it with the lawn mower. Go figure. Our other dog keeps looking for his friend and doesn’t understand.

Work was long and grueling today.

So very sweet to place him with his beloved toy. Losing a pet is so hard :(

I had an long travelling day yesterday causing me to go home with a headache and going to to bed early. I woke up in the middle of the night.

I check my phone and see a message request from a stranger. This isn't something new for me as I usually get approached for fun projects. But this time, it was something completely different and bigger that could affect my life entirely!
This made me feel really anxious and I couldn't go back to sleep, I was already feeling a bit nauseous yesterday, but this situation made me feel even worse. I'm still awake and waiting for a response from someone I care about a lot as I want to know how she feels about this situation (and me in general)
My neighbours are having their bass guitar practice, so my sleep has to wait.

There's just something sad about my mom sometimes.

All she want to do was to be with her daughters.

But I don't know what to do with her, and my sister doesn't really like anything to do with her.

What an earth is up with Shona on Corrie?

It's like she has stereotypical autism from NT point of view but brought on by a coma.

She was NT before.

Went into a coma.

Now has no idea what is appropriate to say or do. Just says whatever is on her mind. Does whatever she wants.

Comas don't do that do they?

If it happened irl it would be really worrying but cos I think it's an imaginary illness, it's actually just really funny.

So, I have to go back to work tomorrow and have been thinking about how a really, really don't want to go back to work. Then, I found out that not only do I have to go back to work, but I am scheduled for a hearing tomorrow morning at 9 am that I am not ready for. Yikes!! ! And then, our dog died. I wanted really badly to give up, but I knew I couldn't because others need me, so I pulled it together and prepared for the hearing, helped bury the dog amid tears and memories, and I will be okay.

Thank you again, Aurora. Also thank you to Juliette. We will miss him. We always thought our older dog would go first, but life (and death) isn't always what one expects.

I also wanted to say that I got a short continuance of the Monday hearing and had until noon today to get in more documentation and it was really difficult getting the documentation from doctors, etc. but the parents were great and I got it all together and got it sent off via secure email about about 11:59. Whew.

When I have to do these hearings or other big deal things, it takes over my life and I end up exhausted. Also, after getting it all off at 11:49, I feel like most people would be cheering and hoisting a glass. I just want to go to bed and pull the covers up and sleep until I have recovered.

New hearing is tomorrow at 2:30 pm.

What's on your mind right now?
This usually does not bother me, but the past few days have seen a rash of people ignoring what I say, and presuming that what they think I "should" have said is the actual answer I gave, even when the conversations take place through email.

• The salesperson who told me I needed a certain device, after I showed an example of something completely different.

• The new member of our church's on-line discussion group who "gaslights" me whenever I present facts that contradict her opinions (i.e., "What you really mean, Fnord, is...").

• The pollster who insisted that I belong to a certain political party when I belong to no political party at all.

• The co-workers who re-wrote one of my reports to make their screw-ups seem to be entirely my fault.

That last one was done in spite of the fact that our supervisor had already received and reviewed my report with me 3 days earlier.

It is enough to make me want to give up on humanity altogether.

Twitter is now forcing every RT to be a QRT.

QRTs are rude.

I hope there isn't now a load of space at the start of every RT I do cos I like RTing people who leave that as an option.

I only QRT idiots or memes.

So I'm just not saying anything at the top of the new, enforced, QRTs.
