I'm the rare person with so many posts yet at the same time only two people mentioned my name so far (I think). Are my posts boring or something?

it is like being picked to be on a team.
when it comes time for the picking to be done, i am always glad that i am not picked.

one thing i have realized recently is that people do not attack me here and i can talk without much resistance.

i have no idea if my posts are read or not, but i know that i am not disliked by people because at least some would read what i write and i get no complaints now.
no news is good news.

if someone "picked" me, then i would possibly feel obligated to post satisfactory posts in the flavor that i imagine they like me to post, and it would be hard to imagine what it is about my posts that they like.

so it is easier to be accepted but ignored than to be accepted and applauded.

I'd like to meet around 30 or so people on here. You probably know who you are because we exchange the occasional or a lot of posts in various threads. I'm purposely not naming names because I'd likely miss a name out and offend someone. Thank you to those who said they'd like to meet me.

I wonder how many people (who don't use their photo in their avatar) would be surprised by the real life appearance of people they only know on here? I bet nobody knew I'm really a ten year old girl living in Mexico!

I guess I'm one of the rarer ones then, I'm actually quite extroverted when it comes to people I know or have a common interest with (i.e. my friends, family, friends of friends, and people in my class, etc.) Course, I'm a little silent around complete strangers, but the problem with me is not getting me to talk, it's getting me to shut the f#$k up, lol.

I think that's the reason I'm involved in anime so much, the otaku community are mostly outcasts, but if you share their interests then they can be very friendly and welcoming.

I haven't been here very long, but i'd like to meet anyone on WrongPlanet. I'd especially like to meet Spazzergasm, Ebonwinter, b9, Friskeygirl, LoveMyAspieGirl or Descartes. They seem to be the most fascinating members on this site.

I'd also like to give a special shout out to AspergersGirlsSing AKA haley. I love how optimistic you are at such a youg age. I hope I meet you in around four years and hear you tell me how you got through high school alright. Remember to say no to drugs!

Finally i'd like to give a special shout out to DarkBBastion (who made the "Aspergers SUCKS" thread in the haven a while back). I bet you have far more potential than you realise. Perhaps if I met you I could help you discover your potential. Have you tried abstract art? Free-verse poetry? The mind has an ability to create art during depression. People will buy such art if they can relate to the feeling conveyed, or if they just like to be pretentious. They don't even care if it's "good". I like to think that the part of the brain that creates poetry out of sadness evolved to help depressed people find each other. I respect how you are non-religious (like myself) and consider yourself to be in a right, logical mind, so I wish to show you logical evidence of you potential. I hope anyone in a similar situation to DarkBBastion pays heed to this too, I know there are a lot of you.
