I agree.

To take it further, when/if people who cannot afford to pay for their child have a child, then the child should be taken away from them to be adopted by a couple who can afford and are willing to take it. And those people who have lost their child in this way should be sterilized so that they will not have a child again.

I don't think horses are beautiful or mystical creatures and I would eat them if I liked the way they tasted (which I don't).

The starving millions should be given condoms and birth control pills so they stop popping out more kids adding to the population of starving people.

Sometimes I wonder if people look up the symptoms of Asperger's Syndrome, then come on here listing these symptoms in an attempt to make people believe they actually have AS. They've had no official diagnosis whatsoever...all they do is Google this stuff and list it on Aspie sites like this one.

Hey, you wanted me to post an unpopular opinion.

The number of people with a legitimate case of AS is far less than the number of people who think they have it or want to have it.

I do not think we want to have Asperger's.

I think we want to find a way to live in a world that largely thinks we have a choice in how we think and feel and behave.

breed a lot more horses and ride them, use them for carriage transport and power farm implements with them. make 'em all wear diapers so that all their alimentary product can be collected and used for energy production. instead of speeding tickets, traffic cops would give out failure-to-diaper tickets whose revenues would support more horse and buggy infrastructure. encourage more use of horses by taxing the dickens out of cars while letting horses/carriages have free parking most places.

I don't know about the pills, but unlimited free condoms failed miserably in Africa and beyond. They were rightfully rejected because while they may reduce the chance of contracting AIDS by +95% -- they also stopped sex from feeling very good! Protected sex went from "awesome" to "....meh".

Why can't our scientific geniuses make condoms that still feel good for men??

Better yet, I'd love to see better "pedal power" and get us flabby, soft humans back into shape! Some people have developed single-person pedal vehicles that can get around 100km/h! And less bulk than horses and their buggies and spare diapers. ;)

they have, the reality FC-2 inverse [female] condom, that fits securely inside the receptive partner [inner ring and outer ring keep it in place] and the man thrusts into it. it squeeks a bit but reported feels as good as the real thing.

Hope she agrees... (And I'll end there before it gets moved to "adult".) ;)

after my mishap last summer, i am very reluctant to risk life and limb again by getting upon a high-center-of-gravity bicycle- i ride a recumbent TRIKE now, that is low to the ground and much less likely to knock me rudely onto the hard ground where my tender bits get ground up and my rigid bits get shattered like glass.

I'd like one too! They can get really fast, too! I could go the required 50km/h to share the streets with cars without them trying to run me down for blocking the way like those annoying cyclists do! :x
[img][400:260]http://www.t-ryx.com/Catrike%20700.jpg[/img] I want one!!
Of course, a covered jobbie would be even nicer in wind & rain!

I see several recumbent bike commuters most mornings, I think there might be a movement afoot. I prefer the higher center of gravity bikes myself, mainly because I'm afraid of not being seen by motorists. Even as a cyclist I have to check a couple of times before pulling out because otherwise I sometimes miss other bikes on the street or trail. (although that might be some processing difficulty all my own, who knows)

My unpopular opinion: I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with eating horse or dog or songbird. I think meat is meat. I was veggie and even vegan for years and now as a meat eater I can't really avoid "ugly" truths about what I eat. I recently mentioned to a co-worker that I regularly handle dead animals. It wasn't inappropriate to the conversation we were having at the time but she recoiled like I'd just told her I killed neighborhood cats for fun. I clarified by saying "mostly chickens", but she still seemed really grossed out. But it's the truth. That's what meat IS. At some point it had a face. And maybe feelings.

i can tell you there are hazards associated with low-slung recumbents, which include the snapping jaws of uncurbed vicious dogs being at the same level as your face, instead of down at your legs. your only defense is to outrun the SOBs. always carry police-grade pepper spray with you also. and consider wearing elbow pads, you don't want what happened to me to happen to you!

Most people who drink booze do it for the actual ethanol itself; that's called self-medication.

my body refused all attempts at such self-medication. :hmph:
