Done! I too love Love Lies Bleeding. Somehow I don't class it with the rockier numbers (faulty classification perhaps?). I love Bernie Taupin's Lyrics - but there is something in the timbre of Elton John's voice that gets me, and of course the composition of the music. I read years ago that Elton was adopted but there has never been a mention of that in these last few decades. I used to wonder about that mother who would never know the incredible child she had. This thread is really going off the rails. LOL.

Yes, we are off the rails so I will disguise my banter thusly: :P

1. I adore Bernie Taupin's lyricism and the timbre of Elton's plaintive, earnest voice.

2. I don't classify Love Lies Bleeding with the rockier numbers either, perhaps because of Funeral for a Friend, but the guitar is insane and I imagine it will be incredibly powerful live. It's their best hard rock song. I forgot to mention my grandpa was once in a band and played guitar, so the bits about "I split the band" hurt. :(

3. Grey Seal and Sweet Painted Lady are songs I really dislike.

hahaha 3. I have become distracted by the classifications on this site:

1. I am now a Blue Jay

2. I cannot find the cut off between Hummingbird and Tufted Titmouse

3. I would not like to find a list of all these things so I can stop looking...

Indeed, 3 is my lie. However did you guess?

I believe your lie is 3 as well. You almost caught me there...

1. I wish I were a tufted _ mouse again.

2. I didn't have any idea what those classifications were when I started. I didn't know why my word kept changing, or what on earth it meant in regard to other people.

3. I would like to be the classification name generator, just as I'd like to name nail polish, paint, and lipstick colours.

Yes you are right. I posted about in the admin section.

1. I would create a classification system that also took into consideration years since last post, such as 'elderly Blue Jay' for someone who hadn't posted in a year and 'ghostly snowy owl' for not posting in 5 years. And perhaps just a curt 'ex-veteran' for those one time faithfuls who had permanently wandered off.

2. In my perfect world people would have a number rather than a name.

3. Kurt Vonnegut Jnr had a good idea assigning people a random group, Such as the Daffodils. Cats Cradle I think.

I'm laughing so hard I can't stop. #1 is priceless :D. I hope 2 is your lie, not because I wouldn't like anonymity, but because names are more interesting and offer synaesthesia. (Your name is light green, by the way). 3 is true.

I don’t sense that you would advocate for #2.

Hi Korts,
No, I don't think she would advocate for 2 either

1. I'm up having coffee and about to bake a cake.

2. I had a very short sleep but I feel pretty calm.

3. I dreamed about a character named Lucy Snowe.

I’m baaack. Yes you are both right, it would be unwieldy and probably only workable if it were subjective. Much confusion arises when we gossip about #72 only to find MY #72 is a completely different person to your #72.

I’m guessing 2?

1. I am now ready for sleep with my trusty cat tucked up beside me

2. My cat loves my routines and i have trained her in various ways, bed at 10:30 watch youtube for a bit, wake up for a snack at 2am....

3. Jessie the cat plays fetch with me.

You're right. 2 is my lie. I had a marginal sleep but don't feel super settled because I have a lot to do today.
1 and 3 are true.

I think 1 is true for you
I hope she doesn't wake YOU up for a snack :(
I've had cats play fetch

I think your lie is 2

2. I have hyperacusis (bionic hearing).

3. My sister sued my brother over the character in one of his books that was obviously her

Guess for RaceDrv709 2nd one - I think you may have more than 2 spoiled dogs?

I hope it’s #3 for Alirat.
