I made it through a stressful and important phone call without shutting down before, during or after. And this is on top of some sudden plan changes and each of those things alone has potential to cause me issues. I had done some 'prep work', so to speak. The last two days I've pretty much gone on hide mode to be able to get through this morning. Looks like my efforts paid off.

I absorbed most of what the woman told me (I think, I hope) and managed to answer every question she asked me in a coherent way. I made it through. Then after I went outside to shovel because moving my body helps me shake off residual stress. I got a shower and now I'm here, doing alright. I totally rocked that crap. Go me. I might even try to eat in a bit. I don't think it will make me sick to my stomach. I might give it an hour though just to be safe.

I slept last night without using any sleep aids. I know this is dramatic as all get out, but it feels like a small eternity since I've been able to do that. I'm cautiously optimistic that this bout of insomnia is over. I am a happy, happy camper this morning.

I read an official interview with the producer and the writer of Zombie Land Saga where they confirm that they wanted to handle their trans character Lily's gender carefully, and basically that yes she is a girl.
