I have had dreams where I had an out-of-body experience inside a video game--I couldn't tell if I was myself or a video game character. I have also had a million lucid dreams and dreams where my school was inside a mall (wouldn't that be awesome?) Recently I've started getting dreams involving interacting with people I know--it feels weir because it means my AS is getting milder--it just feels weird to sort of grow out of Asperger's and actually notice people around you.

^ Physical size or cubic capacity?

I would guess something to do with your heart? Engines=heart of the car. V8=big-hearted. Your capacity for caring? Caring too much? Feeling like you always give too many f*cks? Am I getting warm here?

fairly warm. cubic capacity, like big ones- 8 liters/500 cubic inches, that sort. ironically, a short while back I was fixated [perseverated?] on tiny v-8 engines about the size of a lunch pail, 10 cubic inches or so. I thought they were cute little mechanical jewels. when I listened to the alto bark from their exhaust it somehow made me a bit emotional, like sentimental or something like that. stendahl's syndrome kicked in.

Yes, I know what you mean. The sound of a V8 engine makes me trembly inside. It must be my Bogan heritage.

I'd like to watch the video but they always take about two hours to come up on my iPad. I don't suppose you could post the link?

****What do you mean, fairly warm?****

Btw, we have 3 V8's. Because we can.

Thanks for the link. That engine sounds amazingly throaty for its size. My SO wants one.

3 V8 cars. Sorry, I assumed we were talking about car engines. I imagine 3 V8's in a car would give the suspension a prolapse.

I like that you care.

I decided maybe it wasn't hungry at the moment. Pretty freaky.

Freud did say that "sometimes a cigar is just a cigar".

So the same is prolly true of snakes.

thank you  I saw a custom car a long time ago that had two v8 engines lashed together to form a v-16, it had quite the exhaust note.

Boa Constrictors
To see a boa constrictor in your dream suggests that you are feeling suffocated or restricted in some personal relationship.
Mother
To see your mother in your dream represents the nurturing aspect of your own character. Mothers offer shelter, comfort, life, guidance and protection. Some people may have problems freeing themselves from their mothers and are thus seeking their own individuality and development. To dream that you are having a conversation with your mother denotes a matter that has preoccupied your mind and you are not sure how to deal with it in your waking life. It indicates unresolved problems that need to be worked out with your mother. To hear your mother call you in your dream suggests that you have been negligent in your duties and responsibilities. You are pursuing down the wrong path.
Downtown
To dream that you are in downtown represents your material concerns and possessions. It may indicate the hustle and bustle of your life.
Pizza
To see or eat pizza in your dream represents abundance, choices, and variety. It may also indicate that you are lacking or feeling deprived of something. Alternatively, a pizza may have similar significance to a circle.
Sauce
To see or taste some sort of sauce in your dream represents your sense of wisdom and intellect. Consider the color and flavor of the sauce for additional significance. The dream may also be a pun on being "saucy". You need to be more bold and direct with your feelings or opinions even though it may not seem to be an appropriate time.
Dough
To see or work with dough in your dream signifies potential, possibilities and the ability to create. The dream may also be a metaphor to symbolize money.
Circle
To see a circle in your dream symbolizes perfection, completeness, immortality and/or wholeness. On a less positive note, it may also mean that you are going around in circles in some situation. Or the circle can indicate monotony and endless repetition. To see an imperfect or incomplete circle in your dream suggests that you will face many obstacles and setbacks toward achieving your goals. You need to work on your inner self and develop more knowledge. Eventually, you will overcome these obstacles and find that your struggles are well worth it.
Trees
To see lush green trees in your dream symbolize new hopes, growth, desires, knowledge, and life. It also implies strength, protection and stability. You are concentrating on your own self-development and individuation. If you are sitting or standing under a tree alone, then it indicates a time for reflection. You are contemplating an important decision. If you are under a tree with someone else, then it means that you are evaluating the relationship. The dream may also mean satisfaction with your current situation. For more information one needs to know what kind of tree it was in your dream.

I dreamt I was at my parents' old house, and I was out in the front yard filling in a giant chuckhole and popped up in the pavement just in front of the yard, using a rake that was a little too flimsy for the task. then it started to rain heavily and lightning/thunder, and I heard my neighbor say "you better get inside before you get hit!" so I ran through flash puddles to the house and once inside I found myself naked. I went to the bedroom and changed into some clothes whereupon I found myself in a large shopping mall where I met some german tourist who tried to squeeze my hand off but I squeezed his hand hard until he let go. then the german guy ran to the front door of the mall and did some karate with some guy outside the door somehow. then the rest of the dream evaporated. wish I could take a video recorder into my dreams.

I once dreamt that I couldn't breathe.
The worst part was that I couldn't wake up either.

I don't remember the exact date but I have it written down somewhere.

Last Friday night I had a couple of strange dreams what I still remember quite clearly today.

The first one was about there being an old, abandoned cabin type of thing at the bottom of my garden, and me and my family were all fascinated by it all of a sudden. But then this cabin thing started going on fire, which then spread on to the house, so we had to leave. I ran in and grabbed my teddies and my phone and it's charger, because I didn't want them to get burnt, and then me and my family set off out in search for a new home, and we just left our house to burn down to the ground. I wasn't as anxious and terrified as I would have been in real life in this situation, but it was still such a horrible dream. I woke up thinking it was real for a few seconds, until I realised it was only a dream.

It was about four o'clock in the morning, and so I turned over and fell asleep again, then had another even more vivid dream. I was in the town where my boyfriend lives (but my boyfriend didn't come into this dream for some reason). The town where he lives is big and busy, and I was there by myself at night. This man who is quite obsessed with me in real life was there, trying to ask me on a date and I couldn't get rid of him. He started following me, then when I ran he started running, and I was getting really annoyed and angrily and grossed out. I tried to run as fast as I could, but was only running at a snail's pace (it's often like that when you try to run in a dream). Then I yelled to a policeman about the annoying man, and the policeman yelled at him to keep away from me, and then I lost him. But then I found him again in the middle of a busy road, and I then felt guilty for getting him into trouble with the policeman, but still felt really annoyed with him for not leaving me alone, so I told him that it was my best friend who actually shouted to the policeman and not me. He believed me, and I ran off and lost him again. Then he somehow got my number and texted me a text to say how upset he was by my friend. I just switched my foot off and decided I should get home. But it was so busy, and I had forgotten where the bus-station was. I was going round and round in circles, and just as I started to recognise a road leading up to the bus-station, I woke up and it was Saturday morning.

A couple of nights ago i dreamt i was in a bar (tho i don't go bars) and needed to use the loo; when i went in the toilets a wolf gently nuzzled me under my l.ear and when i turned to see what animal it was it latched onto my upper arm, closing its teeth neatly around the muscle, so even though it wasn't piercing my skin it could have taken out a mighty chunk if it wanted to. In my dream i stayed surprisingly calm ...at first, waiting for it to let go / go away, but then it seemed to look at me really weird, like it was angry with me for thinking it had no plans to eat me, so i woke up ...and wondered what the f# that was about. Granted i had recently seen an avatar of a running wolf, but it was really nice so it couldn't be coz of that; i have also recently had problems with a service provider who only seems to turn up to cause problems ...but i like wolves so i don't think my dream wolf was him. The fact that i hardly ever have bad dreams, and haven't dreamt about anything much these last few years, makes the dream all the more confusing!

Wolf
To see a wolf in your dream symbolizes survival, beauty, solitude, mystery, self-confidence and pride. You are able to keep your composure in a variety of social circumstances and blend into any situation with ease and grace. You are also a loner by choice. Negatively, the wolf represents hostility, aggression, or sneakiness. It may reflect an uncontrollable situation or an all-consuming force in your life. This could point to an obsession, an addiction or something that is beyond your control. To see a white wolf in your dream signifies valor and victory. You have the ability to see the light even in your darkest hours. To see a black wolf in your dream represents your shadow. There are characteristics of the wolf that you are refusing to acknowledge or incorporate into your Self.
Arm
To see your arms as the emphasis in your dream indicate your nurturance side and your ability to reach out and care for people. Alternatively, it may represent the struggles and challenges in your life. Consider the phrase of "arming yourself" which implies that you need to protect yourself, be more aggressive and take a firmer stance on things or the pun "up in arms" representing anger and your readiness to argue. To dream that your arm has been injured signifies your inability to care for yourself or your helplessness in reaching out to others. You may have been feeling limited and restricted in terms of your freedom or activities. The right arm signifies your outgoing nature and is associated with masculine energy, while your left arm signifies your supportive or nurturing nature and is associated with feminine qualities. Losing either arm may suggest that you are failing to recognize its respective characteristics. To dream that you or yoru dream object tries to rip someone else's arms out indicates that you are extremely upset with something that this person has done, but you have not been able to fully express your anger. Because you tend to keep your emotions inside, it is finding expression in your dreams in a violent way.
