In the US getting vaccinated is no longer a big deal. You can walk into pretty much and pharmacy and get it on the spot for free.

I slept more than 5 hours. And I'm happy as hell.

I finished wrapping up the Christmas presents. Not that there were many and I like doing it, but I've been really tired lately (and am again today), and have been having trouble getting things done, especially ones that aren't really a must or I'm not in a hurry to do.

I made some progress on my to-do list. Cleared out the table in the upstairs hallway, moved my camping stuff out of the extra bedroom, put away dishes then washed more dishes, got a round of laundry going, and cleaned up the kitchen a bit.

Now I take a break before getting into round two. Round two includes picking from: cleaning the windows, finishing up the other half of the inside of the fridge, cleaning the little bathroom, wiping down food cupboards, vacuuming, and/or mopping the kitchen floor.

I'm soooo behind on housework right now. My house is disgusting

I had an hours-long chat with my favourite mystic unicorn.

I retrieved my password to this site and filled in the 'introduce yourself questionnaire'. First time back here since 2015. Once I click 'post' below, I'll be able to add this post to my list of accomplishments. After that, I plan on walking my neurotic rescue dog in the woods...if I can manage to get him into the car (which he still fears). I avoid walking him in the neighbourhood because my neighbours ignore me, and that way, I can spare them the trouble.

rigged up a very rudimentary film slide scanner using a COB light source, black cardboard with aperture crudely cut out of the middle, a white plastic sheet for a diffuser, and somebody else's better quality digital camera.

Got outside and enjoyed the weather. Discovered a new place. But, also content to spend most of the day avoiding people and unnecessary stimulation.

Really hate driving around horse and buggies though.

I got to work on time.

Today I patted the cat.

Made the bed with clean sheets.

Got through the grocery store fairly easily. And bought some things I don't usually buy, without starting to overload and feel angry at the additions to my process.

Been figuring out how to draw diagrams of board games in Microsoft Paint. Today I finally worked out how to add the pieces.

got out of bed in the AM for once since who knows?

Traced and fixed a safety defect in electrics of old family house which has been there since a builder bodged a light junction box in 1970 when building the small extension.

Administered meds for three cats and a Bear
Yoga
Showered, then cleaned bathroom
Read four chapters of my book
Updated my journal
Put away Christmas gifts
Rearranged bookcase a little bit
Scrubbed the floors by hand (kitchen / utility / main floor)
Cleaned out fridge and freezer
Cooked supper
Took out recycling (crushing boxes etc)
Cleared snow
Wrapped birthday gifts and sorted gift wrap
2 loads of laundry
Inspected hot water tank -- likely needs a repair
