I hope my eyes don't get worse that they need to perform surgery on them.

From what?

I have myopia, but it seems to get worse each year.

The sunlight seems to be putting a lot of strain on my eyes lately. Probably because of the late-night studying+cramming and early morning class schedules.

I hope my eyesight doesn't suddenly give way like yours. :-(

I'll keep you in my thoughts, and wish you the best. I'm sorry, for your predicament. I hope it gets better. :-)

I have the same and my eyes keep getting worse also. Do you wear contacts or glasses most of the time?

How does one eat hot soup in the middle of a hot summer?

Same as in winter? :P

It's really hot right now, at least in my room. It's almost unbearable. :eew:

Also, I love Blinded by the Light by Bruce Springsteen.

Loving Coure d'Alene, but missing Oregon and the Portland-metro area. :(

Uh oh, that's probably headed my way in a few days.

It's funny, the idea of having soup in the summer seems so horrible to me yet I still drink hot coffee every morning and don't give it a second thought.

I still haven't installed the A/C unit this summer and I probably won't since it's already almost August. When I used to live with my father he got me a huge AC unit and I would blast it at night and wake up shivering, reaching for blankets. Obviously he paid the electricity bill too. :D

Nice! I like being cold when I got to sleep because I like to pile blankets on me but I get yelled at for trying to turn the A/C on unless my Mom wants it on

I like it cold when I'm trying to go to sleep too. Your mom sounds like mine only mine was like that with the heat.

Me: "Mom I can see my breath!"
Mom: "Put a sweatshirt on!"
