People trying to drag me into something I totally don't want to be part of - my own ethical reasons. "People they don't like you to be so free"...

Too much caffeine.
I tossed the rest of the brewed pot of coffee out my door...

Woke up at 2.30am with my head spinning and feeling nauseous. Like I'd drunk too much, but I don't drink. Made it to the bathroom and got stuck there for 40 mins just feeling dizzy and sick.

This happened once before a couple of years ago. It's weird. Still a bit dizzy today but not so bad now.

Dizziness persisting. Can't run. Trying not to despair.

Would you call it vertigo?
Do you have a blood pressure monitor?

Hi Issy, I would call the episode I had the other night vertigo. That was literally feeling like if I moved my head an inch I was going to puke. Since then it's just been persistent vague dizziness. Lots of movement in my peripheral vision makes my head spin, I'm better in open spaces.

The reason I'm trying not to despair is that my partner has something similar and it's been going on for her for months. She's been unable to drive or do much at all so I've had to do more than usual and drive her around and stuff so I really can't afford to be out of action.

No blood pressure monitor, but I'll go to the doctor if it doesn't sort itself out soon.

I'm glad you'll see your doctor.
I used to need a medication called Serc, which helped a bit.
Another consideration is to cut back on salt.
I don't know if you have a lot of sodium but sometimes that can lead to dizziness.

Is it mostly when you stand up, or just random times?

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll look into the salt thing, it's not something I pay a lot of attention to.
Not just when I stand, no, it's pretty much all the time. Just sitting here i'm a bit dizzy. If I get up it doesn't get any worse but no better either.
