Just as I'm having a pity party, listening to all versions of The Lonely Bull on YouTube, old German Schlager songs start popping up. I decide to listen to a few and now I'm in a good mood. I tend to take it personally when Barb doesn't phone me right away in the morning. I start to worry that her son has called her and told me not to be my friend, anymore. Her son hates people with disabilities and he doesn't want her to be friends with them. What a bigot.

That kinda never occurred to me. That's my task in a week's time

I hope it works.

I think it's esp true for aspies but true for anyone really, when NT people are newly single it's better for them to rediscover themselves through hobbies than to rebound. When my dad's at his lowest mentally, he's just filling his time with TV and trying/failing to be friends with other ppl, nothing else, when he's at his strongest mentally he does art and hobbies & language learning.

Hmm well me just being me.. I'm thinking about music after deciding I've eaten enough and Weather to finishing watching Coneheads on TV. I might decide to have a bar session with myself (rap)

Lipozene is a hoax. Eat less, move more. Also, people come in all shapes and sizes.

It's been snowing all day... started last night, actually. A real snow storm. I had trouble sleeping last night due to all the noise. Hopefully, this night won't be as noisy. Hmm I like snow and all, it's no winter without snow, but I don't like how it takes the buss longer to get to places when the weather's like this. It's not a problem during mornings since I have some time before work starts, but when I go home it's annoying because I can't get home as quick as usual. With a lots of snow, just walking to the bus stop goes for a bit of an exercise, though. For an office worker like me, that's a good thing.

What is it called when it's not American but still quaint, not antique yet, posters?

Vintage?

I'm thinking about things like the seaside posters which encourage British people of the 1950s to go to the seaside & are now popular for their quirky/kitsch value. More wholesome than some of the mucky postcards you could get from the time.

The term for similar when it is American is Americana. Might literally mean American but conjures up images of milkshake bars and girls in poodle skirts.

It's been a week now since I've put the lavander seeds in a container with wet tissue.

... It still smells good. :o
I really like the smell.

Yet it still kept me wondering if it is the growable variety.
Even though I'm more or less at the right time and supposedly season to attempt germinating any.

And that I just had to wait for another few weeks to find out... :?

I've done a lot of walking today. I walked down to my dentist's office. After my appointment, I nearly walked half way across town to get to my clubhouse in time for Knitting Club. I walked home from my clubhouse about 3 blocks. I'd rather walk to my appointments than ask Dean for a ride, the way Barb does. I know I need the exercise.

For past few days... All I did most at the time was sleep.

And it's not just me.

My brothers dog is pawing at me, gently, with a single paw while I'm eating like "Please?". I know I'm not supposed to look at her or anything right now but  she's just so cute.

Ways not to make my mom mad despite her accusing me of changing my health insurance.

Anglo American TV shows.

What I mean is TV shows set in either the USA or UK with someone from the other one of those two countries in the main cast.

I seem to watch a lot of them.

By main cast I mean someone who turns up every series and almost every episode.

I was going to say I never watched them as a kid but I grew up on Frasier so remembering that I realised I was talking nonsense. Maybe Daphne is what started it all off for me?

I'm listening to The Collectors trying to find the song about feelings. I thought the title was Don't Feel Bad, but I guess it's something else.

Another thing on my mind. Why do I always fall in love with fat, disabled characters?
