I made it through the phone call. They already had things updated in the system, so it took less time than it was supposed to. Woot! The lady on the phone tried to be helpful at one point, but I wasn't able to deal with the sudden switch in gears and she was totally cool about it. I appreciated that. A lot. Two hours later and I'm sitting, eating, and having a drink. I got my head straightened out from that. I made it through. I left the rest of today open as recover time for myself so I think I'll likely work on a game I've been playing and try to work on some lil goals there. Just relax now. Keep it low key.

I'm slowly but surely making some progress here in with these calls and forms and all that. I hate all the steps, but getting them done one by one is huge and I'm doing it and surviving it. One more step done today. Hell yeah. That feels good.

I finally sent an email that's been needing to be sent for over a month.... haha... but i did it!! and the response was well received. It cleared up a lot of anxiety that's been brewing in my chest for a while.
On top of that, my tattoo artist got back to me after i didn't hear from her for a long time, and we are consulting for a new tat tomorrow!
& I had some really good social interactions with many coworkers today, but esp one that I adore and admire sooo much.
So many happy things today

slaves, day laborers, customers, or anyone else, did not have the nerve to bother my worthless corpse. (maybe tomorrow they will bother me)

weather

not too tired

back did not hurt, which it has been lately. (however, left ribs, electric shock sensation)

sister answered email

worked short day

only loaded one piece of wood

did not almost get hit by a car, did not trip on garbage

I managed to get a bit of work done in the yard today before getting too warm and needing to stop. It wasn't a lot, but it was enough. It can be difficult comparing myself to how I was pre long covid crap and how I am now. I'm trying to focus on little wins v/s what I can't do. In that spirit, I'm extra pleased by today's efforts because it's unusually warm today and I am a hot weather wussy so this is huge.

I'm actually in Berlin, I have been living here for over a month now and I feel at home. Every day I go outside without any reason ir destination and wander around the city.

It makes me happy to be here and even though I have not yet reached the stage of being fully relaxed yet, I definitely have made a big enough step to get there.
