It's like how in old cartoons characters will call strangers Mack, they're using a nickname because they don't know your name but don't wish to be unfriendly.

It feels like my skin is allergic to my hair all of a sudden.

I have very long hair but it feels like steel wool on my back.

I'm even getting sores on my back.

My doctor said the sores are "fine".
