A relative had gender reassignment surgery today. They were extremely nervous.

I'm sending them hugs, health, and love.

Tell them that I congratulate them. I've always wanted that done, but I could never afford it.

They had to battle for years for insurance coverage, but it finally was approved in another part of the country.

There's a whole domino effect of family members relocating and switching homes to accommodate the journey, because of Covid.

I'll let you know how they are, when I hear more.

I hope my parents will take it all right when I tell them that even though I can get a COVID vaccine in an earlier group (probably around March) because I’m recently off of chemo, I’m not going to get one in that group, if at all. Yes, my immune system is compromised, but if there’s a limited number of vaccines, someone who actually wants to keep living can have mine. I don’t care if I die, so why not?

Now with Biden as President, it is time to take action on Climate Change and Corona Virus.
Good riddance to the Worst President of all time!

America is a somewhat civilised country now.

My book is utterly stupid.

Only reason it's prized must be 1 novel ideas (novel ideas aren't always right) 2 it kind of works for things like poetry and 3 big words.

NTs and non-hyperlexic autistic people find themselves intimidated by big words.

NTs therefore assume 'if it's in big language it must be clever'.

I think any autistic person would cut through the crap. Non-hyperlexic cos they know it's a way to mask things 'cut to the chase!' and hyperlexic people like me because we do understand the words he's using, we just also know that they're stupid arguments.

Tangible eg of what I mean.

He says Kennedy was the last true president because he actually got killed and died.

But I disagree. Kennedy wasn't the 'last true president' just because he got assassinated.

Because presidents aren't kings so it doesn't work like that. Americans have elections.

Someone's words don't matter more after death. It's just a convention that they do. Because 'do not speak ill of the dead'. That doesn't change tangible reality or mean that tangible reality doesn't exist.

Yawn...

Semi-work. I think.

For now the pattern, it seems, 3 days a week and full time still, with side errands outside of that.
I thank the fact it's in every other day, except Sundays.

I kinda like this setting; full time day work, then a full day rest. But I've yet to gather what part time daily is like.

And yes, this is still in lockdown.
And no, this isn't essential/frontliner work.

Better than nothing to exercise my mind to put my guard up a bit. :o
Even better; now that I have my self monitoring system up to date.

I had a Tim Horton's dark roast. Now, I'm listening to The Who. I feel like I'm 21 again.

Part of my mind is on the curfew that will go in to effect tomorrow. An other part is on gaining skills and knowledge I need to take full advantage of an other opportunity offered at my work.
