That would be very unusual

Drat! I should have said 2:1—which still would have been a lie.

It was actually about 3:1 because many women were in Marymount’s dance program.

You can't fool me 8)

1. I have an aunt with a man's name.

2. I have an uncle with a woman's name.

3. I have identical twin aunts with variants of my name.

I would say #1. Evelyn used to be somewhat of a common man’s name in the UK.

Though Barack Obama’s mother’s first name was Stanley.

No, my lie is 3. I don't have twins aunts or uncles. One of my cousins has twin children but that's it for multiples.

I wish I could give my aunt's "male" name and my uncle's "female" name, but I really shouldn't.

Shirley was a man's name until Charlotte Brontë wrote her novel Shirley, with the title character based on Emily.

1. My paternal grandmother used to call me “Master Don Richard.”

2. She was under 5 feet tall.

3. She tended to have luxuriant white hair.

Is Richard your middle name? If so I'm personally astounded.

3 is your lie.

Yes, Richard is my middle name.

The lie is #2. My MATERNAL grandmother was under 5 feet tall.

My paternal grandmother was a fairly tall woman. She tended to have hairsprayed hair that "stuck up."

Really? That's curious on many levels. Have you read King Richard? :king:

My grandmother had slightly lilac hair for a while, with a rinse. You know those beauty parlour colours from the 60s?

1. My nose is cold.

2. My wrist is in a brace.

3. My feet are in fuzzies.

Nope. Never read King Richard, though I admire the (fictional) King Richard I the Lion-Hearted as was portrayed in a 1939 movie about Robin Hood, which starred Errol Flynn.

I would say your lie is #2.

As Bugs Bunny would say that's "vewwwwy intewesting...." about Richard the Lionheart, for personal reasons. Yes, I know it. Hmmm...

2 is true. My left wrist has had flares of a problem since 2009. I use the brace when it gets bad. The outer wrist bone swells up quite notably but it's undiagnosed. Perhaps a weird tendonitis but that was ruled out.

1 is true. My nose gets cold sometimes before bed.

3 is my lie. I'm in my night dress so I have bare feet, tucked in my duvet.

I actually did have footies all through Uni and in my 20s. The kind with the ... trap door at the back? :) Then one day I realized "omg my feet are claustrophobic!" and away they went. :( I've had onesies since, but not with feet.

1. I always wished I was a twin so I could get away with mischief and have a spiritual bond with someone.

2. I have always been afraid of identical twins (the first time I saw a set of them was at school on the photograph day, and they were dressed alike; I was terrified and utterly confused).

3. The scariest human predicament that I can imagine would be being a conjoined twin.

You're right! I would not want a twin. I have an older brother and always wanted a younger brother (my mother wanted a boy after me as well), but I wouldn't want a sister or a twin brother / sister.

2 and 3 are true.

Richard the Lionhearted was an actual king of England. He was known for his chivalry, but he only actually spent a short time in England, and his mother tongue was French.
