A couple of days ago I received an email telling me that my Daily Telegraph digital subscription had been terminated. I hadn't requested this, and the subscription was £12.99 per month, or £156 per year. At the same time, I received an offer to subscribe for £29 per year.

This sounds crazy, and I wonder what sort of people are running the DT subscriptions department. I've taken up their offer, but it does seem too good to be true. Anyway, here's hoping that this gets ratified, and that they don't cancel the deal....

Well, it's showing up right now in 'My Account > Subscription Details' on the DT's own website, so I'm fairly confident that it's kosher.

I think they're just not very competent and that this is what happens when you automate everything. Computer says 'Yes'?

Yesterday I was up after midnight so it was Saturday morning, I got a notification saying I got my SSI almost at 1 AM :D :heart:
