I think all my special interests are gone and replaced by special disinterests, which are things you intensely hate, and can't stop talking about how much you hate them.

Today, someone on r/Aspergers mentioned special disinterests, which I have never heard of before, but it makes perfect sense. We can have special disinterests as well as interests. Thanks to the insanity of the human race that ruins anything and everything we are interested in. :x

Dilemmas between restraint and expression.

Why didn’t my parents put the date on any of our family photos? Ever?

Crying in my room alone at night time. I wish I never had Asperger's. How easy life would be for me if I was a normal every day person.
But I got Asperger's. My disability makes me an anti-social introvert. I can not get a job because I have Asperger's.

I'm glad I'm INTJ.

People who aren't NTJ tend to come across as stupid to me tbh

People who don't always have a book on the go, again, strike me as stupid

My mother isn't INTJ but more towards the feelings side & she doesn't like it when I'm blunt enough to say other people are stupid but if everyone was intelligent, there wouldn't be the theory of intelligence/stupidity in the first place.

I’m wondering if it’s worthwhile to get re-assessed so my official diagnosis is ASD level 2 (which I’m pretty darn sure I’d classify as) rather than Asperger’s syndrome (which is typically translated to “ASD level 1” these days, and I was probably diagnosed as because I had no speech delay), or if it would just be a waste of time and money because it doesn’t change the fact that I’m stuck in the middle, not disabled enough to qualify for much in the way of services but too disabled to make do without assistance. Would I actually get anything from being officially classified as level 2 instead of level 1? Most things are designed either for high-functioning or very low-functioning people, anyway, with nothing for us in the middle.

I"m a 2. I can attest that there's not much in terms of services available. My paperwork says "significant support" and things like that, but finding that support is another deal. I have OT, Psych, etc., but I'm sure I could get those services regardless if I was willing to pay for them. I'm receiving disability pay from work but that was started because of PTSD and my stroke, before I was even diagnosed ASD (or ADHD). You might want a new diagnosis so you can have an objective assessment of your levels in all the functioning areas, but I'm not sure it would provide you with any new forms of eligibility.

How to tighten the bobbin's thread.
How to keep the thread take up from getting untangled.
How NOT to end up tangling your thread by turning the balance wheel in reverse by accident.

Since when did British people stop saying ornament for ornament?!

I'm searching Google.Co.UK and everything about ornaments is talking about Christmas decorations.

What else is the name of ornamental objects used for decoration all year round in a house?

Also how much is it reasonable to spend on such an item?

Does saving up & being ill enough to warrant disability benefits count as earning money?

I want to spoil myself.

^ ... I don't see why not. :o

I think I need an actual stimming session.

I keep forgetting -- how to plan my own sensory diets as soon as I thought of planning it.

Happens that I've been so good at controlling my body in a mechanical sense, it neglects a lot of physical and sensory based impulses.

I know how to stim naturally -- in a conscious-semiconscious manner, without making it awkward or like it's a chore -- I've done it before, and it was hours long without feeling tired or cramped.

... I just don't do it regularly enough.

And I know what kind of movement my body wants or the way my senses want to expose itself to. My body knows what it was trying to release.

It's just somewhere in my head know how to never take the need to stim ever take over my body.
Or stop in the middle of it without being upset, which is weird -- it doesn't work that way whenever the focus was involving my head instead of my body.

Partially because I am being kinesthetic, and partially because I've spent more time investing how to get by with less.

You sound like my dad who is also an INTJ! Actually that convo you have with your mom reminds me of the convos me and dad has.
I am not sure what i am btw, i end up getting isfj every time i do the test but see myself as more of a infj.
