Going over preparations for taking my two youngest down to the Pride Parade in Wellington at the end of the month and for getting down to Wellington for the "Armageddon Expo" (like Comic-Con but smaller, and in New Zealand) the middle of next month.
Yeah, the events are a couple of weeks apart but they're both in Wellington so they're inextricably linked in my mind. Also the logistics of getting into, around, and out of Wellington applies to both.
Decided the best plan would be to travel to the nearest town that runs weekend trains to/from Wellington, park up there for the day and catch the train into the central station - saves trying to find a place to park in/near central Wellington during a major event. Both the Pride Parade and the Armageddon Expo are at places within a short walk of the train station - probably a far shorter walk than from any parking place we're likely to find on the days in question.
So I've researched train timetables and fares, calculated when we'd have to leave to get to the station, factored in time it would take to get from the station to the various venues... I love it when a plan comes together.

I'm thinking of taking a nap, than doing some more chores.

A coffee recipe that would actually work well for me in a single cup a day.


Not that whatever unpredictable biochemistry that either shaken me into tremor or make me fall asleep.
