Nope. The answer is #1. I didn't speak until I was 5 1/2.

"Autism" started being used in most of its present meaning in 1943, after Leo Kanner published his famous study. You can see a video on YouTube which details therapy for two children with "autism" in 1960.

Sorry, Korts. I thought you were older than 4.5 when you spoke at camp, but I also thought the word "autism" came later in your life.
