No. I couldn't make it. I'm not sure I'd trust either one of them at this point, although no one man could hope to clean up a mess this big. I had no strong feelings about it though. As hundreds of emotional, screaming students piled into the lounge to watch the inauguration on three different screens, all with different time lags, I avoided it. Instead of acting like one of the many who were late for class, I watched clips of it later at home.

Same question.

No, me either. I agree with everything you said, except that I twist it around to the point that I believe that my vote don't matter, and I end up not voting.

Do you consider yourself to be "political", or is it just something that you do, because everyone else does?

Neither. I guess I'm leaning tward the latter, since I do participate in some political discussions. They bring me no closer to understanding why the world is the way it is. Also I figure my vote wouldn't have mattered either way, since I live in Austin, and probably most people here voted for Obama.

Do you consider yourself more conservative or liveral? Are you a republican, democrat, or neither?

I am liberal(if I am to be labeled  ), and I could give a crap less about politics. Nothing ever changes, except things get more expensive, and that's about it. Politics are for politicians. and that's as far as I see it.

When you eat meat, do you consider where it came from?

Yes, but I am unmoved by it. I normally eat meat on a daily basis. Otherwise I start to feel like crap.

What is your favorite food group?

Food groups like this? Than I'll go for the fruit and vegetables plus the meat, fish and alternatives (like nuts?) groups. The latter is favourite, I guess.

When I say that eating sunflower seeds (daily a spoonful) probably could make you feel a little bit better (due to the rel. high content of magnesium) do you believe me than?

(ps, you don't have to, of course)

No I don't think that eating a spoonful of that stuff everyday would help me. It would just make me feel ill.

Do you eat prunes?

i love prunes, fresh ones, in cakes, in marmalades, dried, etc --> delicious !

(i'll try out the sunflower seeds, i often eat nuts or seeds, really like them, but it has been a while, no idea why, and i did feel a bit tired lately, so there might be a connection (i was thinking of lack of iron ( i find i always want to eat chocolate if i lack iron, don't really know what lack of magnesium feels like, but i hear people talk about it quite often recently)

you know what effect certain food has?
i mean could you recognise the effect of coffee, sugar or lack of certain vitamines, minerales etc?

To miss Gemstone; Yes and yes

To mademoiselle Lemon; It very difficult (how to compare states of well being?) but you have to look at it over a longer period, I guess. I made a switch early 2008 after obsessing and studying food, elements, vitamins, metals, etc. and I can say it done some good for me. And yeah, iron, zinc and magnesium are quite important, I think and nuts are a real good source of those. When you eat nuts and seeds regularly you needn't be worried.

Coffee has a quite direct and remarkable effect on me. No coffee for me after dinner. No sugar isn't good, imo, so I use it moderately. You summed up the vegetables you liked eating a while ago (months ago) and those were all very good, imo.

Bla, bla, bla....

Strange how I, in real life, do not talk very much, at least not about myself. Here on the other hand sometimes I cannot seem to stop. Especially in this thread. Do you have this too?

Yes. I do this also. I recently looked up a list of foods containing iron, and chocolate wasn't on the list. Dark chocolate is good for you though.

What are you allergic to? It can be anything, not just food.

He used a talkbox. Basically, he used a clear tube and would speak into that. The tube was connected to the guitar, which was connected to the box on the stage. Anytime he spoke, it would go through the amplifier which made it sound like the guitar was talking.

What is your favourite era of music?
