I was so traumatised by that scene from

The Witcher

that I wrote a fanfic about it giving it a happy ending and everyone said it cheered them up too.

Just had a nice long chat with the person I'm a bit dippy over. She was less flirty than usual but stayed and stayed and talked and talked. I'm actually pleased that neither of us are that swoony. I've felt a sense of devotion to her right from the start, that doesn't seem to change.

Winchester. I grew up near there and I visited today with my kid who is off school due to strikes. Always makes me happy to go home for a bit.

A theater near a popular bookstore in Portland has free matinees every Sunday over the course of this summer,
but it is only films that management views as "classics."

I missed last Sunday for a screening of Jaws, but will go this Sunday to watch Snatch.

Yeah me too actually.

I finally feel like my head is getting back to its usual state since my therapy session on Tuesday.

Woke up from my nap and the city is done working on the pipes so I have water again. Glad they got it done today.

I just spent 70 buckaroonies on crap for my rabbit. Love spoiling my boy. I can't wait for the toys to sit in his cage, untouched and unchewed, until he eventually p*sses on them to show his appreciation and I have to toss them. Love this grateful little dude so much. I am so responsible. <3

 ^

My kitten pissed on my hearing test paper.
I feel equally lucky.

I tried defumigating it (is that a word?) with baking soda and sunshine, but I think I'm SOL.

Slept in and woke to the aromas of fresh coffee and frying bacon, then noticed the kitty was sleeping on my chest.

I'm going to see Return of the Jedi at the movies tomorrow. It's a special showing with a live orchestra. I'm really excited about it.
