The only stuff I've eaten over the past few days are cornflakes, pears, spicy chicken, basa fillets and KitKat bars, none of which I've also used as Christmas decorations.

Has your street or road ever been flooded?

Yes, a few weeks ago I was filling sandbags to try protect the outbuildings.

Do you use rechargeable, cheap, moderately priced or expensive batteries in your gadgets ?

I use Alkaline AA batteries in an electric shaver (6 for £1 at Poundland).

Ordinary Zinc Chloride type AA or AAA batteries in remote control devices (10 or 12 for £1). They seem to last forever.....

Never tried rechargeable.
