That's what SMS/texting and e-mail are for, there's no legitimate reason to bother me in "real-time" unless it's an actual life-or-death emergency.

I don't answer the door unless I know the person is coming and at what time etc. I also do not answer the landline here (I live in supported housing). I don't answer calls from people that aren't in my phone's contacts list. Texting and e-mailing I'm fine with.
