Not the same now, unfortunately.

Mind you, Australia is a beautiful country! If/when visiting, where would you suggest?

All of it.
Give yourself a few years.

It's difficult to choose.
Too many beautiful places.
If you're planning on water sports/surfing, I'd recommend staying well below the Tropic of Capricorn.

^Thanks yeah, surf spots better south of Coffs.. and fewer boxed jellies further south.. But also arrogant crowds, so dont mind trading in the surf for a more scenic spot as long as there is water near by and no crocs! lol

I'm oh so stuck in Colorado for now but I am generally in good company.

I'm just planning some biking & skiing once I bounce back from this most brutal of work-at-home spells.

My general area is pretty good.
No crocs, minimal stingers, beautiful beaches, rivers, mountains, gorges, islands, barrier reef.

I'm in major need of a truck or with any luck a good van here, I'm looking back into the bike mechanic biz as well as rebuilding Subies as a diversion from my technical living. Ford Econolines are cheap but I'd like to save for an old Sprinter.

Anyways here's cberg's good morning tunes:
