i prepared a cake mix for "orange cake".
i used 2/3 cup of milk, and 2 eggs, and 60 grams of soft butter (as the instructions on the box said).

i mixed the ingredients with the electric cake mixer for 2 minutes as it said.

i prepared my cake tin by greasing it with butter and dropping abut 1/3 cup of flour into it.
i rattled and rolled the cake tin until it was all covered in flour and i poured the excess flour into the sink.
i also flicked the back of the tin to dislodge any flour that was too thick.

then i poured the batter into the cake tin and baked it at 170 degrees C (338F) for 35 mins.

i was starving for that cake when it was cooking.
the smell was so pleasant.
when it was ready, i got the cake from the tin and put it on the rack.
then i immediately cut 3 slices which was 1/4 of trhe cake and went and watched "air crash investigation" and as i finished my first slice i felt kind of gluggy inside, and i lost my appetite for the cake so i ate only one slice and i will throw the rest of the cake away tomorrow because i do not eat cold cake.

so much work for one slice cake that i got sick of too rapidly.

I just ate my dinner.... one big boiled potato, crushed under my fork, quite an amount of endive (love the stuff), a in sunflowerseedoil prepared sausage cut into pieces, a gherkin and some of those little onion (in vinegar) made smaller. A little bit of gravy, ditto ketchup, little extra salt and pepper and the whole thing mixed together on my plate.

Nice.

(eat well folks and feel a bit better)
