It's this kind of "language" that is slowly turning humanity in to Mass Effect Elcors.

At least an Elcor would say "Laughing out loud".
You're not really doing what you're saying, you are not laughing out loud. Giggling at best.

You people are lazy Elcors.

Bad lazy Elcor, bad!

I'm quite annoyed by all the dance programs that seem to be appearing on TV all of a sudden. Most of my female schoolfriends are obsessed with Glee, and it looks awful to me, but, hey, each to their own.

Absolutely! I can handle most "text speak", (though I find it annoying) but WHY proclaim "laugh out loud" when something is funny? What sense does that make? Technically, it should mean they're telling the recipient of the message to "laugh out loud", but it apparently means that the sender thinks something's funny! And how many people actually laugh out loud when they type it? With the overuse I've seen from some people, laughing THAT much would make them look like lunatics!

Too many to list... but that would be giving them credit, which I'm not about to do.

I do not like ear guaging.

I remember some from when I was young though. Pet rocks. Afro perms for white people. Mood rings. Playing albums backwards to hear secret messages. Pop Rocks. Wacky Packs. Frosted blue eyeshadow. Earth shoes. Satin "disco suits". Farrah Fawcette Majors hair.

I did every single one of them, and actually liked it at the time.

4-stroke scooters and motorcycles!

Suburbans with volleyball/cheerleading stickers on back window; messages written in shoe polish

big NOTW stickers on windows. Jesus would never have driven a gas guzzler

Flatbillers/Bro's (they drive the jacked up Ford F150s with the big Monster logo on the hood)

Flip flops

spandex jeans with the fake pockets

MMA/UFC - as a 'sport' or as a 'fashion' - half naked sweaty guys grabbing each other is a little 'weird'

Ugg-ly boots, especially when it's 80 frickin' degrees outside

Singing shows, dancing shows, cupcake shows, wedding shows, cooking shows

'pinup' wannabes

turning every comic book into a movie

porn creep

Medical marijuana clinics that sell Bob Marley posters

Deliberately bad fanart like 'Dolan the Duck' and 'Sanic' - these are rampant memes on sites like Doodleordie, and I keep thinking, maybe one day I'll find out WHY it's funny. While searches on the origin of 'Sanic' come up with very little, I've actually been too lazy to find the Dolan comic.
