The opposite. It's a very relaxing environment, especially when the pouring rain is accompanied by loud thunder and lightning.

Nope, I have problems with getting up when it rains!!

I love the sound of heavy rain. It sends me to sleep. If it is during the daytime I sometimes stand in the porch outside and watch and listen to it falling. It is hypnotic. Especially beautiful if it is dark and there is thunder and lightening flickering across the sky too ... awesome.
