The bullying stopped for me once the bullies saw that I just didn't care what they threw my textbooks into, where they threw my schoolbag or what names they called me. Also, some kid transferred to my school, got popular and for some reason took a liking to me. He was a tool.

Midway through 9th grade, when I left high school to do internet schooling. I went back early this year for a few months and didn't get bullied, surprisingly, but I left again for a different reason.

It eased off towards the end of high school when I learned to tell people to f**k off.
These days I'm not around the kind of people who used to bully me.

No, by all means! Go ahead and say it. We're online, so there's no chance of real retaliation. What's on your mind? You wanna say something rude? Do it.....

You think I'm not aware that sometimes males pick on females? It's still disgusting, even it's nothing new.

What I was reffering to was the fact that you thought it necessary to point out that it was a male, as if that somehow made it worse.

I'm with lecks here, I don't think the gender makes any difference. It's just as worse with both genders. I got bullied by boys at school and I don't see it as any more significant than being bullied by the girls, the girls' bullying was actually the one that had more of an effect because girls are vicious.

From what I remember, I never got bullied by girls.

I was bullied by both guys & girls. I didn't socialize much & had very few friends so I wasn't really aware of the girls talking behind my back or anything like in that Lindsay Lohan movie Mean Girls. I was physically bullied by girls. I always heard that when a girl hits a guy it means she likes him but what does it mean when a girl punches a guy in the face & breaks his glasses :? If I was so popular then; why am I single now :?

Most of the bullying stopped when hit puberty. I got a weight set and put on muscle, got a punching bag and learned self defense techniques, and dressed like a punk and hung out with the punks that had no other friends. I regret not being able to hang out with the smarter people in school, but at least I was safer.

It didn't stop until after my high school graduation. Even there, some people bullied me. As soon as that was over, and I haven't seen them, I haven't been bullied.

Freshman year of high school I started some great rumors about myself. Apparently they took off and people then left me the hell alone. 99% of the rumors were complete farce's, but they instilled a little fear in people.

What were the rumors?

For some of us, it stops before high school graduation. For some of us, it never stops.

It's not really so much that he was a guy, but she said he was "developed." It read like the guy had unusual strength for his age. Why should that even be a factor, unless she suspected he would use it to hurt her. I don't know what he did to her, but if he insinuated that he might get violent with her, then in my book he's just that more of piece of garbage. And yes I'm being sexist- I think it's worse when a guy hits a girl, ESPECIALLY in a bully situation.
