I bought a ten can box of Grolsch lager. If you collect eight ringpulls, they will send you a free Dutch Glass. I drank all the cans. How many ringpulls did I remember to put to one side? Seven!

Do you wear a lot of vivid, eyecatching colors? If you do, that might be why.

Kids are drawn to colors like a magnet. That's why so many things oriented to kids have so many primary colors. Primary colors or vivid colors (like say, the shade of pink in your avatar) are visually pleasing to kids and they have absolutely no problem staring. You don't have to dress like a neon sign either -- all it takes is a shirt or something like that.

These are often called "power colors" and some people are more prone to wear them or show them off than others, mostly without realizing it. These people are frequently not arrogant, but rather they are the type which "savor their individuality"... if you can see what I'm getting at.

On the other hand, most adults are prone to wear more subdued colors or things without pure primary colors. They also notice the same colors as the kids, but they aren't as prone to stare because the can modulate this reaction better. Kids are actually a pretty good clue that adults notice you too, it's just harder to catch the adults looking.

When I see apostrophes put in the wrong place, and the irritation tenfolds if it's in a professionally printed leaflet-don't they have proofreaders?

Two examples I've seen in one week

(In the windowe of a playgroup) Space's available.)
(On a professionally-printed convention leaflet) Our Guest's

Don't ask me why but I get REALLY p***ed off if I see this....it just gets me MAD!

I've got obsessions, and hey, sometimes it's just really hard for me to break off a topic. I can even understand liking a band to the point...

But I really hate it when someone says, "I like lots of bands." and then they go and play one g*d d*mn CD, from one band over, and over, and over... Not just for hours, but days and weeks. It's the only thing they EVER listen to.

Yeah that... I hate that.

Little kids stare at me, too. I don't wear bright clothing, just jeans and a tshirt usually that are more subdued colours. Actually, it's not even just little kids.. Babies and adults do it as well.. I've never gotten it! Babies are the worst, they don't really blink.. This has been happening as long as I can remember (and I turn 15 in August. My earliest memory of this is when I was 8, I think).

Other things that bother me:

* When people are explaining something or telling a story and they take as long as humanly possible to get to the point.
* People that can't take a joke and are overly serious
* When people think they are overly intelligent when really they're just book smart. There is a difference!
* People that are cruel to other people, animals, everything for no reason. Heck, even if they have a reason.
* Extremes. Of anything. The answer is usually in the middle somewhere
* Anything to do with killing and war - I don't understand it and never will.
