Half of it was not a particularly nice highlight in my life in that i lost a lot of friends and became socially isolated for awhile. But on the otherhand I left school with 9 GCSE's and I went to FE college to do a-levels and made a completly new set of friends from which my life got quite better.

So half n half for me.

Oh and It was the last time I went to a barbers cause I started growing my hair about then. Still growing now 8)

1998 was the year I left primary school and started secondary school which was really scary- I remember wishing it was still 1997 for the next few years. On a different note, it was the year of the Easter floods where most of the Midlands disappeared underwater for over a week, there hasn't been floods that bad since! Google it and have a look at the pictures, it seems really surreal now.

I liked it!

I remember having the pre-millenium feleing even then.

Lots of good TV, it was also the year I changed schools and actually made a lot of friends lol.
