yes, i would like to meet people from WP. i have an aspie group i attend in my city, but nobody has mentioned if they are members or lurkers on WP.

every so often someone brings up the idea of a WP convention, but it seems like most of us are too damn broke to travel far.

I hope to be in a gang bang with Laz in October. He'll be the one on the hood though.

Wait, what? That's just a VG character which had a touching story to me.

Also, guys with female avatars doesn't mean anything significant. (like female avatar = female members)

Are you sure you want to be as lucky as Laz? 'Cause there's a queue behind me taking turns and you're last after 17 guys.

There's people I'd want to meet and people I would not want to meet. I won't be buying plane tickets or launching any road trips, but if it happens, it happens.

I pretty much agree with you there. I wouldn't buy tickets just to meet someone I do not know...maybe if they lived in my area sure...but of course you'd still be vigilant about it and possibly bring a friend you trust just in case.

I'm pretty much game to meet anyone. Even the people I think are complete and utter tossers on here.

There was a wrong planet meetup awhile back in France at Avignon. That was a pretty cool idea. But I guess a european meetup is logistically more practical than a North Americain one given the scale and infrastructure of the two continents.

Even one state like California or Texas is absolutely massive compared to the UK. Hell travelling between Toronto and Montreal was the equivilant of going from London to Glasgow in miles and it dawned on me s**t this is a big place 8O I'm too used to being able to drive anywhere in my country within a day.

I wouldn't mind meeting another person with asperger's to talk about daily struggles we have amongst other things. It's always nice.

As far as a specific person... not really. I usually just post random thoughts and musings and don't check the topic again, I haven't made many friends. :? The ones I made have mostly drifted off the site.

I'd go to your olympia meetup, but I usually don't wake up until 5pm on a good day. If I wake up at noon and think I can drive 50 miles southward without dieing, I'd do it.

i was often graveyard in my working years as well. i am a nightowl that will do without sleep long enough to get something done in daylight, then i will sleep like death afterwards. i hope you don't have to work the weekend.
