I've realized that I often don't release my affricates, so they end up being plosives. In layman's terms, sometimes when I say "language" it sounds like "languid". :?

I don't know what affricates, plosives, or laymans are. XD

Once, I said a sentence with the word "literature" in it, and it came out "littleuhtull. It was a fail to say the least. :P

Just today I've said "implove" instead of "improve", and "clashed" instead of "crashed".

I THINK the word I was trying to think of was "while" I'm pretty sure I accidentally say "rile" sometimes. Ughh like an Asian. :P

The L-R switch sounds funny. :P

It is fun at the expense of your dignity. :P

Lol I do remember my speech impediments I can laugh about it now tho back when I had I didn't as I was bullied in school by both teachers and kids over it. I use to have problems with W, CH and SH sounds. Back then saying the word woolworths was a nightmare for me.

I had a speech therapist who drove a mini thats how I love minis plus she was 7 foot tall I kid you not! My grandmother use to speech coach me out side of my speech therapy, I didn't start talking into about 3 years old plus I meat my childhood best friend in speech therapy as he too has a speech impediment.

German?

It's vabbit season!

German/Icelandic. Idk, it changes a lot.

Got it when I got a concussion a couple months ago. v_v

That was the same problem I had when was a child mixing up V's for W's.
What's so weird is that I have German ancestry on my paternal side.

Wait, you're a Canadian who developed an Icelandic accent from a concussion? :?

I've been having trouble with my W's lately as well, but its because I've been studying German so now I pronounce things as a V instead of a W. Like the other day I was talking to this guy at work about the Bugatti Veyron and I said "Yeah, Bugatti was bought out by Folksvagen". Totally didn't even realize I was saying it until after.

I don't ALWAYS do this, but it happens on occasion.
