Is meat a comfort food? :?

DUH!! ! :P

My ultimate comfort foods may be shrimp cup noodles, or imitation crab. I LOVE that stuff. :P

My question was challenging the answer that he'd already given. Real meat isn't comfort food. If you're talking about processed meat then yes. But processed meat isn't really meat.. :P

Sorry, my two sections of that weren't related. :P

I totally use unprocessed meat as a comfort food. :D It's MEAT!

Second time in a week I've been told about Tayto crisps. Where do you buy them? I have never heard of them.

Well, there are two Tayto crisp companies: one in Northern Ireland, the other in the Republic. They both major on their Cheese and Onion flavoured crisps which, in the Northern Irish version especially, smell and taste particularly strong.

I've not only bought them as often as I could (both here and in Northern Ireland), I've taken the tour of the Tayto factory at Tandragee in north Co. Armagh.

Many branches of Home Bargains sell them for 15p a packet. They only sell the Cheese & Onion variety but to be honest that's the only flavour really worth bothering with.

That's not a small oddity of a statement considering your username.

Well, sammiches, along with anything microwaveable, are just about all that I can cook. So yes, I live off of sammiches.
