No, instead of working out we would just analyze the exercise equipment to find out how it works, and argue with someone about the practical purpose of building muscle.

I must be quite different then. & that picture freaks me out

No, the thought of myself as normal has never entered my mind. I've sometimes wanted to be 'normal' but I've never thought what that would be like.

I once tried to get an image in my mind, but I was unable to produce anything at all. I have no idea what it is like to be an NT, so I have no idea what I would be like if I was one.

I don't know how different my life might have been, but at the very least I wouldn't be having the trouble I'm having right now.

^ lol. But for real I think I would have probably been miserable that way because I could have ended up being the one that bullied kids instead of being bullied myself. Some things might have been easier but who knows what would have happened!

Yeah, but I'd still want the huge pectoral muscles...

Wait, im confused, you could still work out and build muscle if you wanted even though you have AS.

Of course you're right, WPs KM250Rider (Charles) is a perfect example, he has more muscles in his left pinky than I have in my whole body!

But by way of explanation, I'm recovering from a massive romantic fail and I was thinking I would be more of a hit with the ladies if I was NT - sort of a "metaphorical Fabio" if you will...

Im really sorry you had a bad breakup, but just hang in there, im sure the right one for you is out there just keep your mind open, and im sure love will find you in its path, it just takes some time, My mom and dad both went through a bad break up before they met each other, and yet they still managed to find each other after their bad break up and they ended up getting married and have been happily together for 37 years :) , so just remember that ITS NEVER too late to find the one for you, again, it just takes time :)

I know what I'd be like as an NT - like me.

I always avoided in my teens saying 'No one understands me!' because although it felt that way it was too cliché, but it is very true and tragic that no one will get to know me - I am me and would always be me I think, it's just the AS stops anyone else from getting to know who I really am, my personality and who I am is trapped in a body that just can't function as NT's can.

I would be confident, loud, opinionated, arrogant, and the life of the party, I'd be able to network and I'd be far clearer in my thoughts - I'd likely have ended-up working in media or marketing, I'd likely not be as resourceful as I am now but I'm sure I'd be as determined and pig-headed. I would be the uber me, I often say being an aspie is a blessing on the world, if not for my having AS everyone would be doomed.

I'd have achieved a LOT, then (I have the potential, I'm very ambitious and charismatic, though introverted), for with no AS or whatever this is what I have, I wouldn't have any social problems (though I'd remain an introvert by nature) nor would I have an attention deficit disorder which prevents me from doing things I planned. I'm a very talented, gifted, creative person but my AS or whatever prevents me from having this sort of life I could lead. Once I heard from an astrologist that my horoscope is one "of the woman with the potential to change the face of the world" - well, maybe I'm not into politics and this is what you need to be into to be able to achieve something on this scale, but I could be indeed a famous novelist or I don't know, a model, maybe? An actress? If I lived in a city and not a town, I could when I was a teen, try with a model agency - I'm not too pretty, just average, but I'm tall and very thin so I do fulfill the basics conditions. But I do have AS or at least some neurological issues - once I attended some physiotherapy for something else, unrelated and the guy who did this, told me I'm an evident example of sensory issues in an adult, so that's not like this that I'm only very introverted and weird, that must be something inherently wrong with my brain. Even the brain scan I had once, showed some abnormalities.

I don't think I'd be much different, maybe a bit more confident. I was brought up as a NT, so there's no difference there.

Who knows? Though, more than likely, I'd would have been gray with many other grays, not a vibrant color.

All I know that all my problems that I'm saddled with socially would not exist. That, and I'd have a good paying job, be married by now and have a son, potentially.

Ah, to be nice and normal. Wouldn't that be great?

I'd have a house in the suburbs with the wife and kids. We'd go on vacations to the beach and the mountains with our dogs. Sometimes we'd take the boat out to the lake. I'd maintain my 401(K) plan with my job and all would be sweet.
