Have you noticed that the people who have the least to worry about complain the most?

I actually thought about that when I was five, as such:

Being five years old, I'm only about 1825 days old so each day is about 1/1825th of my life so far. For a person who is 50 years old, a day is about 1/18,250th of their life so far, so as a person increases in age each unit measure of time is less of a percentage of their life.


Have you ever noticed that people are often better able to criticize the work of others than they are at making work that's able to withstand even their own criticism?

I believe we are able to look at an item that we have no emotional connection to for what it is and judge it's merits for it's own sake.
I believe that whatever we have made will never come up to our ambitions. We will always look at them and see what we were attempting to do, sort of an idealized version.
