Sorry for the poor image quality. This is one of my many Alice plush toys, and by far my favorite one (she sleeps in my arms every night). She's about 19 inches (48 centimeters) from head to toe.

Thanks! It's not sad to want an Alice costume! I wish I had one myself, but I don't have a good reason to dress up like Alice since I don't have many real life friends to invite me to costume parties or anything like that.

That would actually make me really happy if I did that. I should look into buying a costume one of these days. Or making one, since I have basic sewing knowledge. Making one might actually be better, since I could go the extra mile and make bloomers and as corset and all those other nifty little Victorian clothing articles. (I'm a fan of Victorian England, or at least the romanticized version of it in movies/books/my imagination)

OneStepBeyond is right, Alex. That plush toy is cute! :)

As for me, let me just say that I love my new Blu-Ray Player! 8)

This is an HO scale (1/87) Victorian mansion designed and built by Howard Zane (master craftsman of railroad models). His one-of-a-kind models are generally reserved for museums and have been featured in magazines, books, and videos. I have been fortunate to purchase two of his houses. This is one of them. I am as thrilled by this model today as I was when I bought it. I am using it as a setting for a novel I am writing. I have not told my wife how much I paid for these models  .

Good thing, or you might be in the dog house.

Awsesome and interesting, btw.

These days it requires a civil engineer to approve a 3 story design due to foundation loads. The home builder credentials don't suffice in these instances.
It'd be interesting to see if the real McCoy 'stood up' back in the day.

Never Burn a Horse! There are so many nasty ponies around that could actually use a fire lit on, I mean under them.

Thank you Cornflake and Mdyar for your comments on the Howard Zane house. Here is the other house I bought from him:
